Like I said, I just can't anymore. While they clearly have a building goal that they are sticking with, but I've grown too accustomed to the no-stakes game, terrible villains, and forced comic plotlines that the movies cram down my throat every three to four months. The only reason I liked the Netflix stuff was because it felt a bit more grounded than the movies, but also because it has some sense of distance from the movies, too. However, half of the Netflix stuff that exists is related to The Hand, which is just an awful awful antagonistic force.
I try to watch Marvel films when I don't feel burnt out on them, which, at this current point, is not happening. I think I need to wait a few years before I can stomach them, or at least, wait until the try to do a decent job at integrating Doom into the MCU. If they fail at that, I'm okay with NOT watching them.
