I'm personally going Zelda.   Although if I didn't have many other reasons stacking up for it, I would probably choose Super Mario 3D World.

Given I want to get Zelda digitally on my 3DS, I figure I will buy it that day.  Every year my mother wants to know something she can get me for Christmas.  So I figure I will tell her Mario 3d World.   This way I can keep my zelda game digital on the 3ds, and have any easy answer for my mother when that time comes. 

Nothing like being almost 30 and still telling your mom a game you want for Christmas. :P

I know that one well. My mother still wants to have a list of items I want every year. I've learned to accept it as her way of showing that she cares for me. It also adds a bit of fun because I never quite know what that gift will entail because she doesn't always get me what I am expecting.

I'm sorry. I never vote seriously in forum polls. Except for the one time Unclebob asked whether people thought he should stay on as a mod. I voted yes in support. Of course, now that I need support to be a mod for the mafia forum, he says he has no say in the decision and won't put in a good word for me. What can you do?

I've got a 3DS but no Wii U so the choice is obvious.  But then Zelda would typically beat out Mario for me anyway.

Sometimes it seems like Nintendo expects you to own both of their systems.  They'll have a drought on one system and in their marketing or in interviews point to the releases on the other one to fill the gap.  But then they'll release games like this on a same day or close to it as if the two audiences are unrelated and thus each need a key release.  My long break from Pokémon was caused by such a practice as Pokémon Ruby came out about a week or two before Wind Waker and as soon as I had Zelda I neglected Ruby and possibly never played it again.

I didn't even realize that Mario Party was a 3DS title so that should show how much Mario Party is on my radar.  Zelda all the way.  This one doesn't have the touchscreen controls of the DS ones!

If I had to choose only one, I'd choose Link Between Worlds because Zelda is my favorite Nintendo franchise. But I don't have to choose, so I'm getting 3D World; Link Between Worlds; and Tearaway on Friday.  :P:
