Oho, nice! I was just checking my game log activity last night to see where I was at and I'm into hour 425.

Cool. I'll add K.K. Birthday to the pile I've got for you. All those rare catalgue items are all re-orderable. Even the DLC stuff can be reordered from your cataloge once acquired.

As for the Bunny Day, I want to try and experience getting pieces on my own. If it proves to be frustrating like the Pave set, then I may want to dupe some of the items. Plus, depending on when we meet up, I may have caught up to that point already. I've just about finished Apr. 11 to move on to Apr. 12 so I'm getting closer to it.

You had the celebration hood out when I visited you last time so I duped it along with the Gracie Items. I guess I could dupe the Tingle hood but I finally got Katrina built in my shop district and figured it would come up eventually. I guess it would feel anti-climatic to have gotten to that point and then just get her two items handed to me but whatever I suppose.

Man, you are rocking it with Saharah. I just had one of my best Saharah days a couple days ago. Using the other 3 accounts I created, I was able to get a new wallpaper and 2 new floors. But the wallpaper was Chainlink Fence and I guess you have all the floors.  :-\

Yesterday, to my amazement, I went into Re-Tail and there was a sloppy furniture item!!!! First time it has happened to me. I was wondering if my game was broken. Unfortuantely, it was the Sloppy Closet which I already had from you. But the good news is, I was able to get the Sloppy TV from one of my residents. According to my list, I need the bed, clock, lamp, sink, stereo and floor. Since you don't list them, I'm guessing you have the last two. Getting closer there. I have yet to receive any cardboard furniture. :(

Also, not sure if you are aware or not but the DLC present from Nintendo this month is the Cancer Table so they are starting to hand out the Zodiac items here now as well.

Yes of course, you should give Bunny Day a try first! That's part of the fun of the game, after all. It wasn't as bad as Festivale. Actually, I have an unclaimed prize ticket sitting around if you want it. And yes, you should give Katrina's new shop a visit first too after finally getting it built. I kind of wish Blanca would visit more often because it makes getting villagers' photos much easier.

I've had 4 characters for a while, which has definitely helped with Sahara! It's still been difficult. Even with 4 characters, I might only get 1 Sahara piece per visit. I'm only missing one carpet, the music room floor.

Yeah, some more sloppy furniture! I have some local friends that have been helping out with collecting that stuff (as well as some other items). I do have the floor and stereo. I went and downloaded the cancer table, thanks!

Thanks for the items! I didn't think of it at the time but I grabbed them instead of just cataloging o_o . Perhaps I was supposed to take them but I feel bad for not checking first haha. I guess they are all orderable anyways, but I do still have them all.

I'm going thought the list of shirts and bottoms to see what I have. I'll reply later with what I have.

Ha ha ha! Yeah, I thought you were just going to pick them up and leave them to catalogue but then I realized that I didn't care if you took them since I wasn't going to use them and they are in my catalogue anyways if I ever want to re-order them so keep them. I'd have stopped you if I wanted them to stay.

Ah sorry. After you said you were going for supper, I shut the game down and did some errands. I just got back. Judging by what you said in the Mafia game, you probably won't see this message until tomorrow.

You can visit Xanadu if you want but I warn you now that it is still a boring town. Landscapping and Public Works are still on the backburner of my to do list.

Bunny Day just helped take a nice chunk out of the still-to-acquire list.

Some numbers:

72 pieces of furniture left
18 pieces of wallpaper left
5 pieces of flooring left
40 tops left
3 bottoms left
10 dresses left
17 headgear pieces left
2 accessories left
2 footwear left
14 gyroids left

With my weeding day coming up in 5 days from my current time, I'll see how many of the flower items I can aquire. There are 12 pieces in it but depending on how many weeds I need to pull, I don't think I'll get them all on that day. However, I just stumbled upon something new. Since I've been letting the weeds grow in my town for over 2 months to build up for Weeding Day, they've gotten to be pretty prolific. One day, I came across Leif snoozing in a random area of town. He woke up and gave me the task of picking the weeds. I didn't do it since I'm still waiting for Weeding Day but the encounter got me curious and I looked it up. Appearantly, if you let the weeds grow to the point where there are 50 of them in town, then Leif will appear like this and ask you to pick 50 weeds. If you do this, you can then get a peice of furniture for the weeding/flower set. So, you may want to let your weeds start growing to acquire this stuff. Still, a long way to do it and it is rather counter-intuitive compared to a lot of other goals in the game but that's the difficulty of cataloguing.

I may have to join you some time. I'm hitting a wall in Rune Factory because the main events I need to move the story along are now random encounters so I'm just chugging along day-to-day with little to keep me engaged. Both marriage proposals and the third major story arc are initiated by random town events. Kind of poor planning.

I'll have to fire up my game and take an inventory. I'm sure I have a ton of weeds if I bring the game-date current. I'll make a point of saving them for Leif missions.

Hubba hubba. That's one sweet pile of clothing. I accept.

So Stratos, if you do warp ahead to present day and have a lot of weeds, can I come over and pick them to help me in my Weeding Day quest?

So, I had some bum information about Weeding Day. It turns out you have to pick all the weeds to get an item from Leif and not just certain amounts. Grrrr. However, if I got to someone else's town and pick all their weeds then I can get another item. It doesn't matter if that town has 2 or 200 weeds, as long as I pull them all, I should get another item. I need 11 other towns to visit. Although, part of me thinks that I could probably go to a person's town, pull whatever weeds they have and then if they move on to the next day, I could go and pull the new growth of weeds as well.

So, who's willing to help me out? For those that do, I'm willing to dupe all the Flower Set items I get and give you a copy if you so desire.

I didn't have any weeds on Weeding Day, but Leif gave me a piece of furniture for keeping the place clean. If you haven't already, I'd try talking to him with all of your alt characters and see if you can get some more furniture pieces that way too. I don't know if he'd give visitors a piece of furniture as well but that would be useful in getting more pieces.

If I have the perfect town ordinance, then how would I get the Golden Weed Picker badge? The game contradicts itself since to get the Golden Watering can, you need to have a perfect town rating for around 12 days which is best accomplished by having the perfect town ordinance however, you don't really need the watering can then since flowers won't wilt and die under that ordinance. It's cuckoo-cuckoo. Thus, I am working on getting my Weed Badge before enacting it.

As for leaving the gates open, we leaguers trust each other. I've had my gates open and let Stratos in to sell turnips and not bothered to watch or follow him around and there are other moments where I've had sacks of bells lying around everywhere but I trusted the people that I didn't have to supervise them. I would suggest you get a better group of friends if you can't trust them in your town.

I am not going to try the alt account method and hope I don't end up with a lot of Rose Sofas.

EDIT: Sweetness! It worked! I was able to get the Cosmos Fan, Lily-Record Player and Violet Screen. That just means 8 towns I have to go to. Or maybe 4. Leif does say that he has a prize for residents from another town who help out with the weeding. Does that mean if I go to another town and pull their weeds and they come back with me that they could also get a prize? Only one way to find out and that's by actually doing.

These are the pieces I still need in case anyone has them: Azalea Stool, Flower Bouquet, Lily Lamp, Sunflower Stereo, Hibiscus Clock, Hydrangea Bed, Pansy Table and Tulip Dresser.

We still on for tonight, Stratos?

I want to try something. I'd like to send all my alt accounts over and pick a weed and have you pick a weed and then I will pick whatever weeds remain and then see if we can get 5 more pieces out of Leif by doing it this way since the alt account method worked to get 3 other pieces the other day. If it does work, then I just need one other person to help out with this.
