We could try for tonight. This is my 'Friday' from my primary job so I tend to be up a bit later.

I would be willing to trade the GracieGear for the Crown unless you had your heart set on it.

I'd take that trade. I'm just wondering if Mop it up wants it for her catalogue in which case she should meet up to acquire it. What time would you be available tonight?

I'm off in 20 mins and then it's a 30-40 min commute home. I'm alone tonight so I get free reign of the computer and 3DS. I'm grabbing dinner on the way so that shouldn't take too long. So by 8pm my time.

Understood. I'll probably be already online by that time so just message me in game when ready.

So I am in a bind. I dumped all my bells into the stalk market and they have just been going down each day. It is saturday and at the lowest ever of 45 bells. Anyone got any price that I could use tonight to save my monies.

Just don't move forward time wise. I'm on Wednesday afternoon of last week playing catch up but my prices just jumped from 60 bells in the morning to 116. That means the expected upswing is now beginning. Once I complete my Wednesday business, we shall see what Thursday brings. If it is a large spike, then we shall make a good profit Thursday afternoon. If it is a small spike market, then that leaves a reduced time window of making decent money for Friday morning. Fortunately, the Friday afternoon price will still let you make a profit but it won't be as high as the morning.

Personally, I'm hoping this is a large spike market. It's been awhile since that happened but give me an hour or so and I should be able to move ahead in game to find out. You'll just have to pause your progress for a moment.

How do I not move forward? Just keep adjusting the time to when I last played?

Basically. If I'm not done in a day, I'll note what time it is and if I start up my 3DS the next day, I'll alter the time and date so that it is maybe 1 minute ahead of when I last shut it down and continue from there. Or not play the game at all until ready to make a move and then alter the date and time to that point and carry on. You can keep going forward however slowly you want. You just can't go back.

So, it will be a small spike market for me. My turnip prices went from 116 Wednesdat Afternoon to 96 Thursday morning and now 143 Thursday afternoon. That means my highest price for the week will be Friday morning. I expect it to be somewhere around 156-161 probably.

Thus you have a choice of meeting up with me for that small window of Friday morning for whatever high price I get or selling off at this current price of 143 which will net you back your money and give you a small gain. I'm fine with either option however with the smaller timeframe to sell turnips that the morning gives, I can't afford much delay as it takes me about 2 hours to gather and sell all the turnips I buy. I buy in the millions in order to have 100,000+ turnips. I was fortunate to buy my turnips for 90 bells a piece this week thus if I were to sell them at this 143 cost, I'd net a 5,300,000 profit. However, I want to gain the most I can and so will sell on Friday morning and hopefully net 6,000,000 or more. So, you are welcome to join me when I play my Friday morning time but I'm going to be all business and will not take kindly to delays.

As it is, since I'm on Thursday last week, I've got to particpate in my harvest festival yet, do my regularly shopping, Katie showed up in town so I've reached out to another person I've been trading her with to get items and hope he replies back soon so I don't have to wait on her, headgear is a premium at Re-Tail and I've got a lot those to sell off as well. With all that going on, I'll be playing this day for awhile so if you want to pop in then it won't be a big deal.

It has been a very busy week for me so I have not gotten to play for a while. I MAY have time this evening but I have a whole heap of chores to catch up on first.

I'll look you up if I am free.

I've been checking every day, but haven't had any turnip price worth mentioning. Yesterday was my only day over 100, but it was 119 and that wasn't enough to bother.

I think I'm giving up on my catalogue, at least, in the sense of trying to keep track of it. There are just too many items to log, and the task of trying to figure out what I need and what I have is just too daunting. I still want to help out you guys if I can though, so hopefully I'll be able to do something for you.

I have nothing much to trade. I wrapped ALL my bells in the stalks hoping to make a quick buck at the first positive spike I got.

That is why I have been so eager to offload these turnips ASAP.

Alright.

Quick query regarding your turnip market. Did you keep track of your turnip prices for the whole week? Checking every morning and afternoon for the prices from Mon-Sat? Did they ever go above 100 bells?

They kept going steadily lower each day about 10-20 bells a day. I didn't check every morning/evening in a day but when I did I noticed no change in price. I may not be getting that time/price change right. Gonna be a bit longer. I have to finish processing something (that is waiting on someone else).

Well, as long as it was steadily decreasing and lowering then you most likely had the dreaded ever-lowering market. However, as crazy as that might sound now, I would invest very, very heavily into turnips on your next Sunday after selling these because there is a very high chance that the next week will then be a large spike market where you can sell turnips at around 200 or more and make a grand killing.

I've just opened my gates and have the game running while I watch a movie so you can arrive whenever you are free.

Ok. I'm at a standstill at the moment. I need to make a dish for the harvest festival that requires a scallop and a clam. I don't have a wetsuit (I lost it stupidly awhile back) and the island isn't selling one. Can someone who does have a wetsuit get me these two creatures and bring them over? I just had to get the seafood dish. ANIMAL CROSSSSIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!!
