Japan eShop Round-Up (08/14/2013)
« on: August 14, 2013, 12:41:59 PM »

Even on summer break, Nintendo delivers a few new titles this week.

For the past several years, during the summer holidays in Japan, Nintendo has decided to ostensibly take a week off, preventing them from releasing digital content. Somebody must have figured out how to press the “release” button from home this year, because we have two Wii U Virtual Console titles hitting the eShop this week even though NCL is closed. Also included in the round-up are the titles that were released shortly after last week's Nintendo Direct. Check out below for the latest downloads in Japan, and enjoy what’s left of your summer holiday!

3DS

Downloadable Titles
Darumeshi Sports-ten (Darumeshi Sports Shop) - FREE (in game purchases starting from 400 yen each, from 8/8)

Wii U

Downloadable Titles
DĹŤbutsu no Mori Komorebi Hiroba (Animal Crossing Plaza) - FREE (from 8/8)
Egokoro KyĹŤshitsu Sketch (Art Academy: Sketch) - 400 yen
Demaeyakata (food ordering service) - FREE (from 8/8)

Virtual Console
Super Mario Bros. 2 (Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Famicom Disk System) - 500 yen (from 8/8)
Hikari Shinwa Parutena no Kagami (Kid Icarus, Famicom Disk System) - 500 yen
Metroid (Famicom Disk System) - 500 yen

I would love to get the Lost Levels on my Wii U here! Hopefully we'll see that tomorrow!
