Topic: Need help with Dragon's Lair 3D

Hi,
I just recently bought a Gamecube and started playing Dragon's Lair 3D and got stuck almost right out of the stall.

I'm in the room at the beginning of the game where the Irish music is playing.  The door in front of you is locked and when you try to go into the room to your left the table flies up in your face.  I searched the Internet for a walkthrough, but only found two different ones that each just basically say "climb" over the wall to the left of the table to get into the next room.

The problem is, I don't know how to climb.  I stand at the wall and jump, but I'm not able to catch on to the top of the wall.  I've tried hitting every button or combination of buttons I can think of and nothing seems to work.

I'm trapped in the room.  Help, please.

Doesnt your manual say how to control Dirk?
