My reciever can provide both 5.1 dolby digital and DTS, I have a fibre optic connection so both are in full operation.
When a movie has the option to choose between the two, which one is the better quality sound choice?

I think DTS sounds a bit fuller. I heard also that DTS is less compressed than Dolby digital so that might be why it sounds better.
