Ooh this is a tough one. This year is almost halfway through its fourth month and already there are so many good choices just from this year alone.

But one of my favorites still has to be the alliwantforxmasisapsp fake blog back in good ol' 2006. Now that was a great insult to gamer's intellect everywhere. Although one could make the argument that it was done by an advertising company, the advertising company still had to get permission from Sony to do it so I lay the blame with them.

Actually, this reminiscing reminds me that there was another site around this time winter 2006/spring 2007 that I use to frequent a lot because of the jabs they took at Sony. They were a pro-Sega site and so were happy to take this revenge on Sony and were based in Europe and pretty sure it was the U.K. but could be wrong on that point. They use to print a lot of gif images and a popular one was Ken Kutaragi at a table with word bubbles printed above his head of all the ridiculous things he was saying. I wish I could remember the name of. The site may have been shut down but I'd still like to know what it was and can always use archive.com to check it out again for some good memories.

My favorite one to get mad at is when Roberta Williams said King's Quest stopped selling and games like Quake become popular because the average computer user became dumber and poorer, and not because King's Quest was a bad game and Quake was a good game. I know that **** happened in the 90s, but whatever.

Well, the average PC gamer is dumber then they used to be. Not saying that was the real Quake sold better.

Kutaragai saying he wanted "for consumers to think to themselves 'I will work more hours to buy one'. We want people to feel that they want it, irrespective of anything else." (in other words, thinking people would want the PS3 so badly that they would work two jobs to afford it).

Yes. I knew UK was in there somewhere. Thanks man. It was a great site and I can definitely see a bit of similarity between it and Pietriots now that you mention it. Must be why I like Pietriots so much also.
