I voted for Mega Man 3 based on the discussions in this topic. I've never played either.
 
My MM game back then was Mega Man X. I remember my mom asking me if it was an adult game (I presume because of the X in the title. I was 13 at the time).  She was so good about stuff like that (though it rarely came up since, for the most part, I wasn't into very violent games anyway). Ah, gaming in the 8/16-bit era.
 
Off-topic question/musing: Will Jon ever host another episode of RFN? Hasn't NWR Chat been dormant long enough?

I've never played either game before as kid (though I plan on getting them both through the 3DS VC), I voted for Mega Man 2 solely off the strength off Quick Man's stage music.

I voted for Megaman 3 because not only is my favourite BUT it's got great levels and the megaman 2 bosses revisited in the extra stages PLUS protoman PLUS rush. so I really hope it wins so I can play it with you and contribute to the discussion.

I really can't imagine Lindemann missing this retroactive.  After all, there are few series that provide as much fodder for double entendre jokes as the Mega Man; look at all the names of the robot masters in MM3 alone. 

Just to be clear, I am mentioning this in jest.  I have missed Lindy's presence on the podcast, too; that's not to say that the other guests haven't been good, though.

I wonder if a lot of people voted for MM3 for the same reason I did? It seems like I only hear people talk about MM2, so I want to hear talk on a different title in the series.
