Do I free my mind?

I'm sorry if this thread should be in the review section, but i was wondering if i could get some advice from my fellow gamers about ENTER THE MATRIX. I checked gamespot and other official gaming sites but personally I
think they're all in an older gaming crowd...... so what's it like , over rated?, under rated, worth it?,Pros and cons? thank you much for the feedback.
confucious say: before insualting a man, walk a mile in his shoes, so that when you do, you will be a mile away and have his shoes...

I see a lot of reviews that recommend renting the game instead of buying it.

I bought it the day it came out, and while it fails to live up to all of the hype surrounding it (greatest game of all time, the game that will change video games forever, blah blah blah), it is still a very fun game.

I'm not sure what you consider the "older gaming crowd", but I am 27 and I am not sorry that I spent $50 on Enter The Matrix. I am the type of gamer that plays a little bit of everything. I begin playing one game, stop, and play something else. Sometimes it's weeks before I get back to playing a particular game, but I have been playing The Matrix almost exclusively since I bought it. The sound is great - utilizing the songs and original score  from the Matrix soundtrack. While the game has it's flaws, the characters look extremely good. Some of the movements are awkward, but that doesn't take away from the game's enjoyment. The only thing I can honestly say is really lacking, visually, are the vehicles. The cars look pretty bad (about N64 quality). Other than that, if you like action (fighting & shooting), The Matrix is rather satisfying.
