Well since Camelot is almost done with Mario Golf, their only game in production that we know of is Mario Tennis.  Hopefully they will make an incarnation of the series on the Cube, even if it means using the same story

As a fan of the original Golden Sun on GBA, I would love to see a new edition of this game on Gamecube, but I see them making a third Golden Sun for GBA before that would happen.. *sigh*

Golden Sun was pretty good, but I finally sold it to a local game store because I couldn't stand using their battle system.  Seriously, I just couldn't take it, and it was bad enough that I had to get rid of the game.  Other than that, I really enjoyed it and passed many hours at school thanks to it.

Camelot said that they are not working on a third GS for the GBA

Hopefully that's because they are working on a GC version

o_O the battle system was pretty much the same as any other RPG, with some great elements like the Djini, how could you not like it?

but yeah, a golden sun game for gamecube would be pretty cool, if they did it outside the GBA storyline

My best guess on Camelot's activities is a new Shining Force game.  They were always the major "force" behind the series, it was just Sega's license.  Sega's already announced a new Shining Force and I don't think anyone would be dissapointed if Camelot were doing it again.

Wasn't Shining Force for Saturn?  Also I'm not quite sure but I belive that Sega might own the rights.  I hope I'm wrong, I like Camelot alt

I heard rumor that Camelot was working on a Gamecube RPG as soon as they were done with Golden Sun.

I believe that I read on IGN last week that Camelot wasn't working on a Gamecube Golden Sun game.  I remember this because it kind of surprised me.

I forget exactly what it was that bothered me about the battle system, but I think it was something like the way it managed the order of your party members' ability to attack.  It just wasn't right.  I liked the game, and got pretty far, but the battle system was so infuriating that I just couldn't stand to play it anymore.

I remember AGES ago, that Camelot was reportedly making a GCN RPG.  It's probably not Golden Sun, but it will probably be similar.

Maybe Nintendo gave them the rights to Camelot to make a pokemon RPG for them ala Sega with FZero. I don't know its just an idea.

Ya I would love a golden sun, especially if it was cel-shaded.
