Remember when Ken (frontal-lobe) Lobb was doing his disgraceful puppeteering for M$ last year in an interview when Ken the Lobster was dissing the Mario franchise and dissing Nintendo's unwillingless to embrace Online Gaming (no matter how dodgy it is at the moment spilling over from the PC platform onto the console platform like a rash), was part of the reasons why The Lobster defected to M$ while holding Rare's hand because without him, Rare cannot tie their shoelaces at E3 showings.
Yet come 2003 and Wind Waker (another one of those Flagship Nintendo Franchises) drops many jaws and Ken the Lobster is no where to be heard in any interviews yet alone some toss website that caters for Xbox fanboys. Come E3 2003 and Rare have the most dodgiest showing of so-called innovative franchises (yeah full-frontal and Grabbing Characters by the Ghoulies (testicles) is sure to attract interest by the mainstream markets which M$ and or Rare seem to be praying on).
Is it just me or has this generation of console's suffered extreme bashing, anti-competitive nature of a publicity kind instead of letting software do all the talking?
We all saw how the DC was bashed by Sony and that died real quick.
No matter how many other AAA titles come out on GCN that dont rely on Online gimmicks, will the GCN be remembered or will the corporate leeches use Puppets & Analists to continually defame Nintendo's pureness?
I was expecting Rare to make some huge splashes and expecting Ken Lobb to have M$'s hand up his ass like a puppet, but E3 2003 was a huge dissapointment if you where a dumbass Xbox fanboy.
Thank you Nintendo. I need to find 2 full time jobs to be able to afford the games that GCN has linedup and some of the franchises are tried-and-tested Mario Karts/Golf/Tennis but hey what aint broke need not be fixed. These franchises dont need to rely on gimmicks that Rare are currently pulling-off because these franchises have da gameplay brother.
Amen.
