Price is Right rules apply, closest guess on both price and date without going over wins the Official NWR Forum No-Prize (tm) and a podcast shoutout.

My guess is November 17, 2013 and $99.99, to coincide with Nintendo's first game that necessitates it.

For reference, in Japan the individual GamePad's will be priced at 13,440 yen (approx. US $172) and are presumably on sale at launch.

Madden doesn't require it. I don't think any game will ever be bundled with a GamePad, unless maybe it's multiplayer only and requires players to use the GamePad.

My guess is whenever Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper (first game to be confirmed to support 2 GamePads) comes out, I will go with December 2012 for $149.99

A Fair local multiplayer Mode that doesn't require the players to switch uMote for whoever is on offense would be great. Possible Game Changer.

The only company that could do it is Nintendo.  And I could see Nintendo creating a Wii Play like game that specifically has games based around the idea of 2 vs 4 or 1 vs 1.  I would love the idea of Nintendo creating a Club House games that uses the TV and 2 or even more Gamepads.

I was thinking August 19, 2012 for $120 standalone or for $150 with Madden 2014.  Actually, isn't this year the last year of Madden NFL exclusivity?  If so, maybe it'll be bundled with NFL 2K14.

Last I read, it was 2013 or 2014.  So maybe it'll be in 2014 unless NFL signs a new agreement.  You are incorrect about it still being long term.  It was ESPN they had locked up til 2020 or whatever.  What I found here says the contract runs through 2013.  So it'll probably be games in the 2014 season that will start seeing competition again.

I stand corrected. Still, I'd be shocked if they didn't extend the deal again. The baseball deal actually is coming to an end, because 2K doesn't want it anymore; it has to be embarrassing to have your game that's on every platform outsold by the one that's only available on the platform with the lowest install base.

NCAA football and Arena football also come to an end in 2014 and cannot be extended for at least 5 years.  I could see the NFL exclusivity being extended though.  I'd hope they don't extend it though.  Of course, if EA offers them another huge sum of money, it could happen.

I really have no idea with this, but I don't think people will be willing to pay too much for what is essentially a second controller. Unlike something like Kinect or the Balance Board, people will already have one of these, and so I'm not sure how willing they'll be to buy another at a high price. So I think it could be a while until they are available, so that they can price them at $99.99 or lower, and maybe bundle in a game. I don't see them selling for anything higher. This is, of course, assuming that it actually costs a lot to manufacture them, otherwise we could see them sooner/cheaper.
