We're trying something a little different this week for our NWR Community Night. Instead of picking a game ahead of time, we're inviting you, the readers, to come into the chat this Monday night, August 6, starting at 10 p.m. Eastern/7 Pacific (2 a.m. UTC if anyone abroad is still up and wants to join in), and meet people to play whatever game you choose.

Is there an old Wii or DS game you've been aching to play online? Or maybe a 3DS game we haven't picked in a while? Try and recruit players in the chat!

Do you like this new approach for Community Nights? Would you rather they be on a different day of the week? Please leave feedback in the TalkBack.

Sounds good, butis there away to have the chat window open without the right side being covered up by stuff in the main forum?  I know one week it was possible but it seems like other weeks no matter how you stretch window, the right side is covered up with stuff.

I just checked, and it works fine for me if you do it in the TalkBack thread. You can also click the Chat link in the bar at the top of the page, or log in with an external IRC client.

I won't be around until 11pm EST, but I am willing to play Heroes of Ruin, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, Resident Evil revelations or Tetris Axis.

How did this go?  It was too late for me due to timezones (can't please everyone) but I'm curious if you got a better turnout this time around.

We didn't get a ton of people, but we got a good group, who stayed at it for a while. The chat was still going at 1 Eastern

It sucks I couldn't make this one. I've been working late recently, but that can change at any time. I hope to make the next one.
