I was at Target during the Friday/Saturday Thanksgiving sale and I snagged:

Kingdom Hearts for $14
Pikmin for $14
StarFox Adventures for $18

Target was supposed to have Tekken 4 for $14, but since they sold out, they let any PS2 GH take it's place.
I don't know why they sold Pikmin to me for $14.
StarFox was on sale for 17.98

Buying cheap is the only way to go for college students.  If I bought this stuff last year, it would have been $150!

Btw, I'm "new" here.  I had an account at opn2000.com ages ago (remember when Fran from IGN posted?) and whatever incarnation this site was (I think projectn2000 or something like that).
I was known as web67 at gaming-age forums but they banned me.  After emailing about 3 staff members and waiting a month, I still don't have any replies.
I'm known as katanabladex (and katanablade9) on battle.net for WarcraftIII: TFT on Azeroth.

Some Circuit City's are selling the Samsung HT-DB120 5.1 home theater system w/ progressive scan DVD player, Dolby Digital decoder w/ optical audio input, and Dolby Pro Logic II decoder w/ RCA audio input for $199 w/ $30 rebate.

Saving Private Ryan and 1080*: Avalanche sound great on mine, but I'm not the home-audio type that'll shell out the big bucks for extra Watts of power.  I use it in a [college student] apartment living room.

NintendoFanGirl do you know of any deals at the stores themselves, not just online?
Your knowledge of online game deals is, well the best in the forum, but I don't shop online.
if you could expand your effort even a little to retail stores I would be forever in your debt.

oh, your last post included stores, but usually its all online, sorry, but still I would like to echo my request, for more store plz, ty

joeamis, unfortunately almost all my shopping is done online so I don't see the deals in-store.  Plus a lot of deals at stores like Target and Walmart seem to vary from store to store, so it would be hard to post a deal there only to have someone drive and find out the deal didn't apply to their store.

The IGN gamestore at gamestop.com has 20% off accessories which includes the Game Boy Player. Use code IGN20ACC. Shipping starts at $1.99 (USA Value).
http://gamestore.ign.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801581

You can also use that code for other access like mem cards or controllers.  There are exclusions though so you'll have to check out the home page for all the details.

I don't know if anyone else has this deal, but in my area, at Target, and Kmart, and tons of other stores you can buy 25 dollar gift certificates for 20 dollars. You get an automatic 20% off that way. My dad bought like 30 of those gift cards for Target, literally. Plus the other stores, we have like a 5 inch pile of em.
But, the catch is that you have to join this club called (something that starts with an E, forgot the name). If anyone wants to know the details of it i can ask my dad how he joined it, it's just a nice thing to have. If you buy lots of things, the 120 fee to join will quickly be saved in cards, and then you'll keep saving 20% of all the cards you buy.
