Kirby's Epic Yarn - $15
Donkey Kong Country Returns - $15

Seriously?  When/when/how?

I'm with Vudu... I finally signed up for an account at CAG, scoured the hard to use site, and see nothing that reflects such prices - we're calling you out! :)

DKCR was in my Gold Box for ~$35 at Amazon and I had a discount from a previous screw up for $20.

Epic Kirby:
3rd party Wiimote & Nunchuck w/ Choice of game for $35
Games came in at $15 and Controllers were charged at $20.  And they have separate receipts, so you can return the controllers. :D

Wait, this the first I'm hearing of Super Mario All Stars.

Really? I guess you don't read the Sunday ads (BTW, $30 is the MSRP). Kmart is offering a $10 gaming card with the purchase of the game this week.

I wish you had spoke up sooner....
I was tempted by that deal but didn't bite since I didn't want any 3rd party controllers for myself.

Thanks for clarifying UB... I don't feel so bad anymore that I missed some grand offering :)

Thanks for clarifying the MSRP.  Yeah, I've been late on picking these up as gifts, but had a lists of known titles to watch for, and All-Stars was not on it.

Anyways, on topic.... I still don't know if I see the cost being right for All Stars.  You can get each of the titles (including the lost levels) on the VC for $20 total, right? - granted without the snes sprite makeover.  I'd kind of like to see this title drop to about $10, $15 at the max for me to pull the trigger.

$21 on the VC (SMB2j is $6)

Yeah, the $30 price tag include the "upgraded" graphics and sound, but also includes the artbook and soundtrack.  And the ability to play it on any Wii at any time.

But if $30 is too steep for ya, next week, TRU has $10 off all Wii Mario titles - so it'll be $19.99 - if your nearest TRU has any copies left, that is.

$21 would only get you the generic NES versions. This has the re-makes that have better graphics, better audio, save features (so you don't have to just quit the VC game to freeze that spot), bug fixes, etc. The game is more than worth $30. The only complaint I really have is that it forces you to play the game in 4:3 mode (meaning you will have black borders on the sides of the screen).

Best Buy (at least on their website) is having a big game sale ranging from 10-25% off. Some of the deals include a white Wii for $180, the Wii Version of Sonic Colors for $40. The full listing can be found at http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&id=pcat17071&type=page&ks=960&st=%2F&sc=Global&cp=1&sp=&qp=crootcategoryid%23%23-1%23%23-1~~q2f~~cabcat0700000%23%23c%23%23210~~nf399||4f6e2053616c65&list=y&usc=All+Categories&nrp=15&iht=n&ref=106&loc=800

Wii Party - $20
Kirby's Epic Yarn - $15
Poképark - $15
I'm curious, where'd you find these?

I signed up for CAG but I didn't stay for long. I don't remember specifics but I remember there was something about their layout I didn't like, it felt difficult to navigate and find worthwhile deals. I guess I'll have to put in the effort if I want the deals.

His deals are misleading if I read the follow-ups correctly.

They are from applying various credits from previous purchases during deals while also applying employee discounts.

So using a $20 credit from a previous purchase while doing a B2G1 Free sale while also using his 15% Employee discount = each game costing much less than you would normally find them.

Not on those.

Wii Party was one of the Amazon deals around Black Friday.

Both Kirby and Poképark were from the Walmart Controller/Game packs for $35 that was posted on here.  The option of returning the unwanted controllers was well discussed on CAG.  While I have no problems with returning them for the $20 shown on the receipt, there are those who have even done no-receipt refunds where the controllers will net you ~$40 in store.

My employee discount didn't apply to these purchases - and it's only 10% anyway. :p

I'm still upset about the controller bundle for Kirby deal. I posted it and didn't know about returning the controller for a $20-$40 refund.

UB you need to share these informations with your fellow NWRers

I just got an email from GameFly about its massive end of the year sale on used games. Lots of great deals, including Sin & Punishment 2 for $13.

If that's the price for that game used then it isn't much of a deal, as Newegg is still selling the game for $16 new with free shipping.

The NYKO Wireless Sensor Bar is on sale for today on Amazon for a mere $4.99, which is an amazing deal because that's $10 off. I was thinking about getting a wireless sensor bar a few months ago, but I didn't... well I just did. Add this to an order over $20 and you can get free shipping for it.

Amazon UK have got a range of Wii games for under £10 (around $16) in case there's a similar promotion in the US. Seek and you shall find - there are a few gems hidden within the sewage that makes up most of the list!
