Gotta buy somthing for the lady every now n then.

I would be cashing in on this deal like thatguy if I didn't know I'd probably be spending money on my gf instead.

These guys get it.

Hey, I treat my baby right. I was raised that way.

Stratos, I think what Mop_it_up is hinting at is that if you had the right girl, you and she would be exploring the aisles of the game section of toys "R" us together, picking out one game apiece, then the third to share.  No?

LOL. A game date would be cute. Forget dinner and a movie. Dinner and a game would be better.

What does being single have to do with it?
Just admit it, you're broke. There is no shame in that, times are hard right now.

When having a girlfriend means most of your extra money is spent on her and not yourself, it hurts your gaming groove. I would be cashing in on this deal like thatguy if I didn't know I'd probably be spending money on my gf instead.

That's cause you're doing it wrong. I mention a sale or something I want and my girl is spending her extra money on me, not the other way around. Do I buy her stuff? of course, but it's not like I'm sacrificing something I want because I have set aside a "girlfriend" budget. That's ridiculous. She makes her own money, and I'm sure she knows how to spend it on herself just fine. She don't need my money.

"We do it as a gesture"...... those are the reasons men become bitter and end up keeping the high class hooker business alive. Just as expensive as having a real GF minus all the drama. The GFE as it's called.

Do yourself a favor and take her to the store with you while you buy it. If she loves/likes you enough, she'll understand. While you're there, tell her to buy something for herself (with her own money) so that she can get something out of the trip too.

You could buy her a dating sim and then you'll have all 3!  ;D

Did you miss the B2G1 Free sale at TRU and Amazon.com last week?
Now you got a second third chance.

Best Buy is having a B2G1 sale (Oct 25- Oct 31). X360, PS3, Wii games, $59.99 or less

Nice, I missed the last two deals like this one when my bank card got stolen and I had to lock the account temporarily.

Now I can go for it.

If I had a PS3 it would be Batman, Borderlands, and that impossibly hard RPG for me.
But all I have is a Wii and I'm finding it hard to think of 3 games I want right now.

NSMB Wii..... not out yet.
FFCC:TCB..... not out yet.
DSE.... maybe
WiiFit+..... I'll buy it separately for $20
Metroid Prime Trilogy..... sure.

what else am I missing?

Well, there is Guitar Hero 5, Punch-out, Rune Factory, Muramasa, Cursed Mountain, Boy and His Blob, Overlord and Valhalla Knights. Those are games I am considering getting there.

Just go to their website and you can see what games are available in your local stores. I went through and picked out a bunch I am interested in and found the nearest stores that carry them.

Avalon Code received a universal price drop to $19.99.
This game seems interesting enough. I might try to get it with it's lower price.

I played the demo when it was on the Nintendo Channel before. It was really fun to juggle enemies into the stratosphere. I plan on getting it with my next Amazon purchase.

1.) TRU has a B2G1 free sale,
2.) Amazon.com matched it with their own B2G1 free sale.
3.) Best Buy is currently having a B2G1 free sale
4.) Amazon has decided to once again match it.

Amazon - Spend $80 get a $40 credit
PS3, 360 & Wii only
Quote
Spend $80 on select titles and receive a $40 promotional claim code usable towards a future Wii, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 game purchase. To qualify for the credit, you must check out with two or more eligible items in your cart. Only purchases from Amazon.com as the seller and made between October 26, 2009 and October 31, 2009 will qualify for this promotion. Only one (1) promotional claim code will be sent per household. Promotional claim code will expire at 11:59pm PST on 12/31/2009. The savings will not be messaged at checkout. Codes will be sent via email seven (7) business days after all items in the qualifying order have shipped. Restrictions apply.

If you knew how BB supposedly handles their B2D1 free sales, you would see that all Amazon did was copy it exactly.

Best buy lets you get 3 games and then spreads the cost amongst all the games.
instead of
1st game = $60, 2nd game = $60, 3rd game = FREE (totaling $120 spent)
they do
1st game = $40, 2nd game = $40, 3rd game = $40 (totaling $120 spent)

Just posted about that in General Chat.  I picked up Uncarted 2 and MGS 4 for 82 dollars.  Now I have 40 bucks to spend on NSMB when it comes out.

This is actually a significantly better deal than either TRU or BB's B2G1 sales.  If I bought the same three games I just mentioned at one of those, I would just get the 28 dollar MGS 4 for free and spend 105 bucks.  In the above scenario I am spending just 92 dollars.

Look who's next on the B2G1 Free sale streak (appears to be Wii only for now)
I wonder if Amazon.com will match (that would make 3 B2G1 sales 3 weeks in a row)

Buy 2 Get 3rd FREE on all Wii titles ($49.99 or less) at Target B&M starting Nov.1st thru Nov.7th
- Free offer includes all $49.99 or less Wii game titles
- Each purchased Wii game must be equal or greater than the price of the free Wii game

edit: when does NSMB Wii come out?
