Topic: Meet the Pyro

Valve just released to the Meet the Pyro Team Fortress 2 video.  These videos are usually pretty great so check out the others if you haven't.

It also comes with some new weapons and the Pyroland update.

If you haven't played in a while or haven't played before (download it now, it's free!) this is great time to get into it.  If you play sometime between tonight's update and July 5th you get a free pair of pyrovision goggles.

If anyone is looking for a new hat they are also giving codes away for free at Adult Swim.

Almost forgot.  They also are giving out beta codes for the Source Filmmaker that they apparently used to make the "Meet the" videos and are releasing it for everyone to make movies.

I haven't played Team Fortress in a few years now. The pyro was always my class.  Really enjoyed the video too. I'm kinda glad they didn't answer the gender question.  Infact they just teased it more with the pyro being refered to as it, thing, and then finally he.  But then they played the song in the background which is just playing off that question more.   

This was probably my favorite of the "meet the" series.   Probably cause as I said before I just loved playing the pyro.

The pyro is called she right after its called he.  It can be hard to hear the scout because he talks so fast but the subtitles don't lie.

Loved the video, they also tossed in a new map and weapons our way.  But they butched my equalizer and split the axe into the equalizer/escape plan (pain = damage and the other greater damage=faster run).

Damn first they killed the heavies sandwich, glitched the spy's backstab, and now my poor soldier's axe has been "sissified". 

   Haven't played with any of the new weapons yet.

Never really got into TF2, but have always enjoyed the "Meet the" series. Finishing it off with the Pyro is just icing, that and the Heavy, probably because out of everybody they are the two most brain damaged.
