Considering I'm at 956 at the time of this thread creation, I figured I'd start counting down. I'm so excited! The last time I had 1000 posts on another forum was early 2006.

I don't think it qualifies as a conspiracy if I come out in the open and tell you I'm out to get you. Then it's more of a threat, or an institutionalized oppression mechanism, if you want to sound fancy.

To be fair "the rest of you" includes you and most of the staff as well. BnM is a treasure to the forum and does stuff that if he wasn't here just wouldn't be done at all. I would say he deserves to be a part of the staff, but power corrupts people and it might make him turn to the dark side, so maybe its best with him being where he is. A true champion for the little guy.

Wow this makes my feel like a chatty catty with 11,145 posts. I even took what 2 years off when I had my son. Though I do think my timer is wrong for the time spent on here. Its only says 40d and I know I've spent more hours then that.

There are 24 hours in a day so if you've spent 40 days that would be 960 hours. Does almost 1000 hours seem about right?

Especially with what Insanolord has. I'm normally checking periodically through the whole day 5 days a week.

It makes more sense if you figure each time you pop in you might only spend about 5 minutes looking around and posting, so even if you pop in like 10 times a day it might only account for an hour or less of your total day.

Insano has been logged on for about 11,487 hours.(about 619 1/2 days) I think he admitted that for awhile he would leave his computer on the site nonstop though.

I've had the forums open relatively non-stop for years now. It doesn't seem to register just being up.

Yeah, I think they changed it now so you have to be doing something at least every few minutes. I've had it where I forgot I had a tab open for like an hour, and my logged in time didn't change.

I think it logs the time for 15 minutes after your last activity. If you have no other activity during that 15 minutes, it stops counting.

edit: Oh and Chozo, thanks for the compliment....

It's weird but I have a fortune cookie that was spot on.... wish I could find it. I need to play the numbers on the other side.

Ceric, were you a member here back when the site was PlanetGamecube? I think I remember when the site changed to NWR stuff got updated and maybe stuff like the record of your activity was reset, or then again maybe the old software just didn't keep track of it to begin with. And then as you said you disappeared for 2 years. Maybe that's all there is to it.

Yeah I was. I just know I have more days then it says without the conversion. The 2 years or so was the low post count.
