Square Enix announced today a final release date of May 31 for Dragon Quest Monsters Terry's Wonderland 3D. The game will be priced ¥5,490.

In addition to a standard game-only version, Square Enix will offer a Special Pack that includes a original design 3DS system. This is priced ¥24,980.

Terry's Wonderland 3D is a remake of the original 1998 Game Boy Dragon Quest Monsters game. It includes new monsters, four vs four battles, and other new elements. The game also has local and internet wireless support, and Street Pass features.

I like the FE myself, not sure about the color but the design it pretty nice. 
Something off here, the standard 3ds in japan is going less than 15k yen, the games are going for 5k so what makes up to 5k jackup price?

The Fire Emblem bundle is 19,800 yen. The Dragon Quest one is likely that expensive because Dragon Quest games (like most RPGs) have a huge mark-up in Japan.

I don't get it, what is it about the FE 3DS that has everyone so in love with it? It's blue, it has some etchings... what in particularly has got everyone over the moon?

Black & Royal Blue are my 2 favorite colors.

That blue looks awesome and the etchings look great.
If I could pick up a 2nd 3DS, that would be the one (assuming there was no redesign).

As a matter of fact, I hope that if the Wii U launches in a color other than White &/or Black, I hope it's that Blue.

I almost got my car painted that color blue too. I love that shade blue.

I wonder if it's possible I could find someone around town that could do a custom etching on my current 3DS? Would be really cool to get a Fire Emblem logo or even my favorite game, Jet Force Gemini, imprinted somehow on the cover... hmmm.
