Topic: Kirby's Air Ride = Kirby Air Ride?

The name of Kirby's Air Ride has, for some odd reason, been changed to "Kirby Air Ride". Quite unfortunately at that, as the original name just sounded so much better. x_x Does anyone know the reasoning for this?? (BTW, the game is awesome no matter what they say, but, of course, I'm just a sucker for Kirby games.

I agree, go Kirby and all...

...but I am really sick of all of Nintendo marketing Kirby just for kids.  The Kirby games, even more than other games these days, are getting way too quick and easy.  Kirby or Kirby's (yes it's the same game) Air Ride further shows the point.  It plays extremely simply.  It still looks like it could be great, but I want to be taken back to my nostalgic days playing Kirby's Dreamland 2 or Kirby's Dreamland Hard mode, with all of the challenge and captivating length.  The newest Kirby games are frustratingly easier and shorter.  And that is my rant.  So there.      Yeah.            That's all.

Kirby Air Ride is like how Celine Dion pronounces "Kirby's Air Ride".

As for the masses disliking Kirby well Nintendo has kind of turned him into a stupid lame-o kids franchise so hatred is understandable.  Have you ever watched that stupid Kirby TV show?  God that's show's lame.

It's like how Yoshi used to be really cool and then Nintendo made Yoshi's Story and ruined the character forever.  Kirby is an unfortunate victim of Nintendo taking a franchise already suitable for kids and then "kiddifying" it up to make it even more suitable for kids.  Seriously every Nintendo franchise gets cuter and lamer with every generation.

Kirby Air Ride looks like it will be a lot of fun.  I've seen some footage and it seems like a very cool racing game.  As for being easy, I have to agree.  Kirby 64 was very good, and was fairly difficult at some parts actually, but they do want kirby to appeal to children, so they have to make the games fairly easy.  I just buy kirby games for good old fun, and this looks like a very interesting racing game.  The TV show disgusts me, though, and I feel sorry that kirby has dropped to that level.  Hopefully the show has been cancelled, though, and this game may very well pull him back on his feet.  I have faith in HAL Laboratories, though (makers of Kirby games), and I intend to buy this game.

But yes, Kirby does need to be a bit harder and that TV show needs to be annihilated.

I was hoping for a 3D Kirby adventure or at least a re-hash of Kirby 64: Crystal Shards.  But it's alright, I'm still looking forward to this game and I intend on buying it.  (And while on the topic of Kirby, who didn't use Kirby in SSB 64?  He was the best in that game!)

Well, although the logo only shows "Kirby," when it's written out it's still "Kirby's".  Nintendo's punctuation never makes sense anyways.  Note that we refuse to use the italicized exclamation points in Double Dash.

Kirby was awesome in 64 (I'm talking about SSB, but Crystal Shards was also cool).  I use Marth now, though.

This game looks outright good.  The transforming while racing thing is an awesome idea, and shooting stars across the track and flying over jumps.  I am getting this game.
