It started back in October when I went on diet, reducing my calorie intake and eating very little bread, pasta, and carbs.
This gave me some severe constipation and a little bit before Christmas, I started feeling bad, no appetite abdominal pain, chills and fatigue. Then about Christmas, I began to notice blood in my urine.
Laxatives helped my constipation but the other symptoms came and went, some becoming severe at night. Being stubborn I didn't go to the doctor until the pain got so bad I was bed ridden for a couple of days.
I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with hypertension (high blood pressure) and had me take a blood test to investigate further.
The next day he called me and said I needed to check myself into the emergency room right away because my blood was toxic.
I went to emergency room and the doctor told me my creatinine levels were the second highest she had ever seen (19.0, they should be 1.0) and she was surprised I was walking and talking. I had renal failure, meaning my kidneys were not working. They started me on dialysis right away.
I'm still the hospital but my stats are improving and my kidneys don't look like they are dead. I have a kidney biopsy on Monday, but I hope to get discharged soon after that.
I was feeling so bad I didn't even have the energy to finish Skyward Sword. If you're sick for an extended period of time, I encourage you to see a doctor because it my be something serious like Kidney Failure
