Saying the hotel is responsible for their bad decisions that allowed the chain of events to happen is merely common sense.
Certainly. In that situation, the hotel would presumably be prosecuted for their
negligence to the fullest extent of the law.
However, that does not absolve the murderer of his crime, which seems to be the sticking point here. People seem to want to absolve the PSN hackers of their
crime by putting
all the blame on Sony, seemingly with the motto of "well, hackers 'gotta hack! Whatever they do to your systems is
your fault." The committed a crime, and they deserve to be found and punished for it.
