Nicalis has finished the 3DS version of VVVVVV and has submitted it to Nintendo. According to Terry Cavanagh, the creator of VVVVVV, that means VVVVVV will likely be out on the eShop in a few weeks if it clears quality checks.

VVVVVV is a Commodore 64-styled puzzle platformer that was originally released on the PC and Mac in January of last year. In the game, you take control of Captain Viridian. In order to find his missing crew, you must utilize the ability to change the direction of the gravity to avoid spikes and get to the end of each level.

Sort of excited for this. I have the PC game, and I've enjoyed it but eventually got confused as to where to go next and haven't gone back to it. Having it on the 3DS might make me be a bit more patient with it. Definitely a cool mechanic and followthrough... love seeing games like this coming to eShop. Might wait for NightSky.
