Sonic Team is just development division of Sega, they are owned by Sega, so unless Sega sold Sonic Team to Nintendo, along with whatever game rights Sonic team wanted to keep (you can bet Sega wouldn't let go of Sonic and many others) don't expect anything along those lines. Much like Square working with Brownie Brown (made up of many former Square employees that worked on Mana games) it would seem easy to assume Sega would want to work with Camelot, and thus bring the game to Gamecube or GBA. But you have to factor in how much more money could be made from putting it on PS2. I certainly hope it's on Cube though, I prefer playing my Cube over my PS2 any and all chances I can get, it just feels better. In fact, I wouldn't even want a new game, they can just update Shining Force 3 and send it over, since there were Three episodes to the game, and we only got one here in the US on saturn, it would be nice to finally be able to finish it all in cohierent english. They can always toss in other shining games. In fact, just making a Shining Collection. Including the Genesis and Gamegear ones, as well as games like Shining the Holy Ark, and I'd be happy.
Maybe other people don't think much of collection disc, but I love them. You know once Sonic Adventure DX releases with its gamegear games in it, that almost every sonic game would be available on Gamecube (not including those PC school house titles). Just make another Mega Collection and you could get every Sonic game on your Gamecube. Back when I was 13 I sold my Genesis and add-ons for some N64 games. And it was the worst mistake ever made. I miss Knuckles Chaotix and Sonic CD so much. But with all these new great games coming out, and expenses of an 20 year old, I don't have the money to track them down and buy them all back. Besides, I love having a whole series available to me on one system.
