Devil's Third, from Tomonobu Itagaki's new Valhalla Game Studios, could be coming to Wii U, according to an interview with Itagaki on GAME Watch.

The former head of Team Ninja, known for his work on Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive, supports the concept of Wii U, and thinks it is a great idea for households who share a television. He didn't confirm that the game will come to Wii U, but given his thoughts on the system, the game's early 2013 release date, and publisher THQ's promised Wii U support, it's very likely.

Devil's Third, originally revealed around a year ago, is a third-person shooter with a focus on melee combat in a similar manner to Itagaki's work on the Ninja Gaiden series.
