A Journey Through Time
« on: May 31, 2011, 07:20:53 PM »

Do these three well-known games hold up after all these years?

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/recommendations/26399

The Wii Virtual Console has been showing signs of life recently, and we're here to take a look at one of the recent releases, as well as two from the back catalog.

To start us off, Neal Ronaghan makes yet another case for the all-time SNES classic, Chrono Trigger

Next, Pedro Hernandez looks at A Boy and His Blob, the NES title that inspired a follow-up on Wii in 2009. Is the original game still worth playing?

Finally, J.P. Corbran looks back at Sonic & Knuckles, the final mainline Sonic release on the Sega Genesis, and its special connectivity features with other Genesis Sonic titles.

I'm taking over the VC Recommendations for the site. Those of you who remember my old forum signature shouldn't be surprised. We're going to try and make it a regular feature again now that the 3DS VC is upon us, but we still have a significant Wii VC backlog to work through.

If you have a Wii Virtual Console game that you feel strongly about that we haven't covered yet (check this page to make sure we haven't), let me know, and I'll see what I can do.

Too bad someone's done Super Mario World and Zelda: Link to the Past, that would have been funny to see you do those.

I didn't see Blaster Master on the list. It's a fun little NES game that could use some more exposure.

Blaster Master is definitely near the top of the backlog. We already have someone lined up for it.
