I'm really not liking that voice they picked for Phoenix, and what's with that weird hand combo he does on the ground where it looks like he's begging on his hands and knees? And since when could Maya generate a force field? Shouldn't she be whacking someone with a "step" ladder or something?

I'm surprised he doesn't have a move with either Edgeworth (DLC?) or Mia. Other than that, though, he looks like a fun character with his own unique gameplay quirks with the "evidence" he has to find to use in his combos.

Actually, I think that Ezio is probably the only guest character to ever really fit the visual style of the series. Not a bad decision by any means.

...at least they didn't shoehorn Freddy Krueger in. :\

The Star Wars guys were the worst. And even if you didn't use them ever, that Star Wars stage would keep coming up on random select and it was annoying as hell

That said, I wonder if XBox is gonna get an exclusive SFxT character...

The word on the street is that trailers and gameplay video for the last two characters for UMVC3 are gonna drop on the 30th (Sunday). They're Frank West and Rocket Raccoon. I wonder if that one Lifeseeker song is gonna be Frank's theme, lol

Street Fighter x Tekken is going to have gems for customizing your characters and it's quite a point of debate because it sounds like it's going to be a god damn mess for tournament organizers.

Is that Parasoul and Peacock? If so they have been showing Parasoul for a while. Peacock I could see them just wanting to goof with more.

Squigly is Squigly and Peacock is Peacock. Any character they've shown so far will be in the initial release.

The thing is, these characters have been around for years since it started as Alex Ahad's pet project and the character reveals were corresponding with this reference art (until now) so everyone just kind of assumed it was the starting cast:

Squigly is the kung fu zombie with the skeletal serpent pal and Umbrella is the rugrat -- also you can see how some of the other designs have changed a bit since this was made. Here's the actual cast page (so far) on the official site: http://skullgirls.com/characters/valentine/

There's actually a decent pile of leaked (well, more like long-since posted) art for additional characters that they want to add to the game eventually.
