There's still hope for these currently Japan-only titles.

Monado: Beginning of the World, which is known as Xenoblade in Japan, and Line Attack Heroes appeared on a North American release schedule during Nintendo's investors meeting in Japan today.

The two games weren't given any solid release date, merely appearing on the list next to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as two other games with a "TBA" (to be announced) release date. However, this doesn't necessarily confirm a North American release.

Monado, which was released last June in Japan, is an RPG from Monolith Soft. Line Attack Heroes, which was playable at E3 2009, was downgraded from a retail release to a WiiWare title, and debuted last July in Japan.

I put little or no stock into NCL's worldwide release calendars. They had "Doshin no Kirby" (Kirby's Adventure) listed in Japan for several years, right up until Epic Yarn was announced, which is clearly not the same game and could only have been in development for the two years since Wario Land: Shake It. In other words, these financial report schedules are not nearly as reliable or believable as the official release calendars announced by the regional offices.

Haha, not five minutes after my first post, I see that the Kirby game has finally been announced and shown after nearly a decade of teasing. Egg on my face!

I can only hope.  So far Nintendo buying Monolith has meant I don't get monolith games.  I would really like that to change or I may have to resent Nintendo forever for this.

At this rate, they might as well hold Line Attack Heroes for SuperWiiWare...

"Doshin no Kirby" (Kirby's Adventure)

Hoshi no Kirby (Kirby of the Star), Doshin was the giant in that Gamecube game.
