Entertainment Weekly and G4 name Legend of Zelda series best ever.

It seems that not all is lost in the mainstream. Reuters has reported that G4 and Entertainment Week has come up with a list of the best game(s) ever. Toping that list at number one is the Zelda series, followed by Doom (? At least they had a good start.)

Here is the top 5
1. Zelda
2. Doom
3. Tetris
4. GTA III
5. Madden NFL 2003

It seems Nintendo and EA combined for 20 of the top 100.
I'll try to find the EW/G4 article.

i didn't even think Madden 2003 was that good.  it was okay, but 5th best game ever?  somethings wrong.  if they have madden as 5th, where's mario?

Oh come on, I thought Doom was okay.  Don't you guys remember?  Back then we didn't have that many first person shooters, but Doom came and revoultionized that genre.
