I see your avatar just fine.  It's too big though, so I'd like to ask you to pick something more reasonably sized.  64x64 should be the most, and no larger than 20KB.

If you can't see anyone's avatars, make sure that your Personal Preferences (under the profile link on the menu) is set to "Enhanced" mode for graphics.

Woah, this little quick reply thing is cool. Great job on this whole thing Rick. This post is mainly a test to see if my avatar's working.

::EDIT:: A bit bigger than I expected, but that's good- it was so small on the old old forums.

::EDIT2:: Maybe it was too big. Besides, it was on another site's webspace, and good ol' mousey doesn't want to be banned, so I took it down.

Woah, thought avatars would never come back, even if it is a beta feature.

Ah, you guys discovered Quick Reply.    In case you didn't notice yet, if you "dock" it, the Forum remembers, and will have it docked at the bottom of each thread.

At the top of the topic there is a red U-turn arrow for quick reply.  On the quick reply box there is an option to dock.  Then the quick reply box will always be on the bottom of each thread.

Wow, nice work Rick (i'm assuming all IT matters are your domain). Aside from the quick reply, i'll probably not even use most of the new features, but it's great to see them implemented for those who will.

Again, great job.

hey Rick,

the docking seems to be automatic on Phoenix browser. Also, it doesn't give the option to undock.

Quick reply ownz joo!!

As for not being able to find good images under 20k...just use photoshop to resize the image to whatever you want, (you should sharpen at least ones if you go from really big to really small), then when you are saving there is a little quality slider, you can lower the quality of the pic (it's not really to big of a difference for small pics) for smaller file sizes...
If you don't have photoshop you can download Irfanview for free. You can do basic things like resize images, as well as sharpen and do other filters like embossing images or "buttonizing" them by giving them those edges and other stuff...

Well, being director of IT doesn't mean you're the only member of that department/division, smarty.

The avatar I have is only 1.13 KB. It was only 2.24, but I had to resize it to 64x64. And BTW, the quick reply was already enabled for me.
