So.. uh.. Pilotwings by Factor5 at e3?

Factor 5 is set to demonstrate a GameCube version of Pilotwings during E3, or so the rumour goes (and it's quite convincing, actually). Factor 5 are of course erstwhile developers of the excellent Rogue Leader, which distinguished itself as the best early third party title on the system when it became clear that Luigi couldn't cut the mustard by himself. We'll obviously let you know if this is true from the show floor in a fortnight's timeā€¦

So.. hm.. could it be?

Jeez.....you guys sure have a lot of pent up sexua....umm frustrations. I'm not a Pilotwings fan but I know a lot people on the board are. So I hope for you guys sake that the rumor is true. With Factor 5 behind it, Pilotwings on GC would definately be a technical masterpiece.

it would have great graphics and good gameplay
factor 5 is known mostly for flight shooter types of games and the flying for pilotwings would be perfect for them to develope for
factor 5 makes their games to really high quality standards- especially in graphics and gameplay
hopefully this rumor is true- pilotwings is a fun game to play
i call the big one bitey.

Hell yeah! When the GC was launched everybody talked about how the launch was missing a Mario game. I was also dissapointed that a Pilotwings game wouldn't be there for launch.  Oh well, let's hope this rumor is true.

Bah.  A bunch of innocents.  You guys really need to get out more.  I am used to having conversations like this without anyone thinking it odd.

But yeah, a new Pilotwings game would be awesome.  A new Pilotwings game by Factor 5 would be like a wet dream come to life.

EWWWWW!!!! Grey, you just don't stop do you.  First you fondle somebody's nippels in another thread and now you talk about wet dreams.  Anyways any game handled by Factor five is made of gold, so if it is being made, don't be worried about them messing up.

Speak for yourself Mr. ninja...

My wet dreams are a hell of a lot more fun then  pilot wings...

I do agree that factor 5 would most likely make a great version of the game, I just hope it has  a jet  as well as glider on it. A ship based off an x-wing would be pretty cool as well rocket powered or something.

maybe they can kill that little plane/copter thing and actually have a plane and  copter separate with a glider as well as the jet , and a bunch of mini games like the 64  but at a much larger level, like monkey ball 2.

I couldn't agree more.

However, back to the topic.  Here's to hoping (ok, it's actually more or less praying) that this is true.

I hope this is true. I only played the game once for the N64 and enjoyed I never did find a place to buy it since the Wal-Mart had a very small collection of games at that time. (They have become a lot better in this regards not I have a Super Wal-Mart Close by in addition to the orginal one.) But this is the first place I have accually seen this news.

Pilotwings...not a big fan, but a good game nonetheless.

And why are more posts on this topic dedicated to sexual erotica rather than Pilotwings?

Not a big fan either but my friend and I did give it a rent one time. Out of all the vehicles and devices you could use we found the jet pack to be the most fun. Also I remember one of the levels had you shooting rockets at targets but there was this giant robot that reacted funny when you put a rocket up his rear hehehe.
