VISA: It's everywhere you don't want it to be!
« on: April 29, 2003, 06:15:55 PM »
I dont' know if y'all caught it yet but there is a visa ad on the front page that blocks all of the most recent news stories and it cannot be closed because the video game depot ad banner overlaps the visa ad at the place where you can close that ad.  I know you always say you have very little control over the ads (meaning you do have SOME control) but it might be beneficial to you if you can prevent the banner from overlapping or do something else to fix the problem.

Can't be done.  Where that ad pops in is RANDOM, and we can't control where it lands.  Unfortunately, the issue with two Flash modules overlapping where one covers the other is known, but again, there's nothing we can do about it.

I was just going to complain about that too. Can't Video Game Depot make GIF animations instead of flash?
