Don't worry. I could see myself doing a full Pic Parade for this one.

I need to figure out how to make animated gifs again.

She didn't have a nose job, she just grew up. She's like 17 in Labyrinth. She did, tragically, sort of get a "natural" boob reduction when she had her kid. Now she's a stick.

Anyway.

Labyrinth! SO many D&D jokes to be had. Or Talisman, if anyone plays that.

As a suggestion for future movies, how about The Rocketeer?  I haven't seen the movie in ages, but I recently saw it pop up on a countdown list of underrated nostalgic movies and it looks like it could be good fun.

No, I don't.  I've been trying to find it.  Considering I believe It's a Disney movie, I have a feeling I won't find a streaming site for it.  I'll keep looking, though.

I found one. It's the same one that's streaming Labyrinth.

I added it, but there has already been 6 votes, so I'll make sure it carries over to the next round of voting too.

You mean Netflix?  That's not exactly free online streaming, though I suppose there's a trial period.  Oh well, I get my movies I different way anyway.

Not Netflix. Netflix isn't streaming it.
(but they do have a 1month free trial if you want to check them out)

Check the Labyrinth post
http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=31343.msg612814#msg612814

and look for the abbreviation at the end. that leads you to the site.

Netflix is streaming it. It's at the top of my streaming queue. Would have started it today but my gf and I wanted to finish a different movie we had started. I'll start it tonight or tomorrow.

Is this where I nominate movies?  I'd like to go with Seven Samurai.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

added. It's streaming on Netflix & somewhere else.

Because I don't enjoy spending my limited free time watching shitty ass movies so I'm recommending something good.

Fir enough, but you do realize that we are gonna nit-pick & mock the hell out of it if we get the chance right?

how the heck do you nitpick and mock Seven Samurai? That movie is an immaculate masterpiece. Its hard to mock intentional artistic direction, unintentional buffoonery is what I'm after. I'm having issues mocking The Labyrinth.
Magnificent Seven is based on Seven Samurai its so good. I think I reviewed it a while ago, or mentioned it in the Ask ThePerm thread. Although, if I were to nitpick Seven Samurai, it would be more or less a deconstruction rather than something making fun of it. So, far Puppet Master has been the worthiest of mockery because it is so bad.

Perm summed it up pretty well, actually.

I'm trying to bring a little culture to the Funhouse.

That is kinda why I questioned the suggestion. We are here to pick and watch movies that we want to criticize in a way that we find fun to do. Picking a movie that you consider to be a masterpiece doesn't exactly fit the mold of what we are trying to accomplish here. But if it gets played, it will be mocked. That's the way this works.

I'm gonna add A Nightmare on Elm Street to either the next round of voting or the one after that.

That should be a good movie to laugh at now that the childhood nightmares have ceased ;D
