Just announced for the Wii. It's an arcade port of a card battle game in the same vein as Pokemon Stadium.

Today, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road   Victory, an adaptation of their popular arcade game. The Wii   version supports multiplayer battles with up to four players and online   card fights over Nintendo Wi-Fi. Players can use a nunchuck/remote or   classic controller configurations.

Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory is due in stores   this summer. A DSiWare utility called a “color code scanner” is also   planned. This app allows players to scan physical cards, used for the   arcade game, with their Nintendo DSi and transfer them into the Wii   game.

I haven't played a DQ game since the NES, and this game isn't likely to leave Japan, but if DQX for Wii has battle scenes that look anything like the arcade sequel, I would buy on Day 1.
