Why is Crimm posting in the funhouse so much?
« on: April 05, 2010, 10:16:26 PM »
Everybody knows that the staff really don't post on the forums other than to post in Talkback and the blog section. There has to be a reason for this sudden spike in Crimm's activity.

I have come with a few ideas why the spike.

Crimm is being paid more per post he makes.

His recent handling of PAX East has gone to his head and thinks he is a celebrity.

He for some reason has less responsibilities as a staff member and wanted to post more.

Post your thoughts and possible reasons for this spike.

Be outlandish as you want;)
Maxi is dead. I killed him and took his posts and changed genders.

I think he's quit his job on staff because he was hired to do commentary on NHL games based on the bang-up job he did in the videos of me and Lindy's match, and since he's not staff anymore he doesn't get secretly beaten by TYP every time he posts on the forums.

I think the answer is obvious. Look at my life for an example: when I have assignments or things I have to do where do I go? Here. Crimm is just procrastinating.

I figured his 360 was busted again and since he doesn't play Wii games he had nothing to do last night.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Let me respond to some vicious rumors:

1. I have not kicked someone out of a car since I became an adult in the eyes of the law. Any previous incidents are sealed.

2. I used to post here quite a bit, but nobody ever bothered to troll me, even after I became community manager (except Ty, who did so in epic fashion).

3. I play my Wii plenty, but who wants to hear about that kiddy system?

4. I have not played the 360 in three weeks. To my knowledge it still works, unless vudu messed with it.

5. I play the DS a lot, so it's not like I'm Jon "No Nintendo. Please" Lindemann.

6. I'm not technically not engaged in procrastination. The feature scheduled to go out yesterday was pre-empted by Neal's feature. As the Features Editor I could have stolen his thunder, but decided not to. It would have been ready before yesterday, but situations beyond my control prevented it.

7. I wrote a review while I was here last night.  I gave it an 8.  The review, not the game. It is one of the FOUR reviews I have in various states of ready.

8. I moderated buckethatt yesterday. That counts as work, therefore not procrastination.

9. Everyone in this thread is cruisin for a brusin.

10. Sexually

Yo, Crimm!  What's up with the round tables?  Were they scrapped because they interfered with your playing of RPGs no one else cares about?

As long as he's not procrasturbating while in the forum, I'm okay with whatever else he does around this place (or lack thereof).

I think Crimm was duped into taking the position without fully knowing what it entailed if I recall correctly.
