Nintendo printer
« on: March 02, 2010, 08:00:28 PM »
I just came across what looks like a printer cable. One end looks like a typical end to a printer cable that you plug into the back of a computer and the other end looks like the part of a NES controller that you plug into the NES. The shape is exactly like the the end of a NES controller.
I know there was a Gameboy printer but the NES end wouldn't fit in any of the GB slots.

Has anybody come across this item?

I don't think that is a printer cable. Are you sure it isn't that you can plug an NES controller into the cable? I've heard of adapters that let you connect an NES controller to a PC to use for games.

Unless there was an item to connect the NES end to plug into the controller than I don't see how that would work.

Is there any way you could post pictures? I'd like to see what the PC end looks like.

No way to upload the pics to your computer or upload the pics to the internets?

If it's the latter, you can e-mail 'em to me and I'll post 'em...

can't you take the SD card out of your camera and put in the wii then email it to someone?

by end of a printer cable, do you mean a 36 pin centronix card edge connector?

I could probably try that Shyguy.
And yes it is identical to a normal printer cable.

I will try that out later.
Unclebob I just added your email address to my Wii. I will PM you my email address shortly.

Oh I am going to go out to eat in a little bit so I will get back to everybody in a little while.

My searches have only turned up homemade cables like that. So I wonder if it is a homemade one you are looking at.

And the old printer ports are known as Parallel Ports.

It could be Stratos. I was looking at the cable just now and on the cord in between the top and bottom is this PAN-INTERNATIONAL 2464 E87647 AWM 80C 300V VW-1SC

My PMs auto check themselves too. It's pretty handy, especially in Mafia games.

EASYCURE: I remember thinking(don't ask me why) this was a blond haired, blue eyed, chiseled athlete. Like he looked like Seigfried before he became Nightmare.
