Just took off my headphones for a moment that another thunderstorm had rolled in. Might have been causing my lag & poor connection tonight. Think I'm gonna pack it in for the night. Did some decent rare item hunting when you four were full. Turned my Ratholos vest into the +defense numbers.

Sorry, GK.  In the future.  Feel free to message one of us; I'm sure that one of us would have been willing to switch to another room for a while.

Also, sorry that we bored you to death with all the talking in the tavern.  I wondered whether you had disconnected again or if you got tired of waiting.

Yeah, we tend to start chatting about this and that, and before you know it we could have done a quest in that time. It can sometimes be annoying, even though I'm one of the ones who participates.

"Huntin and Chattin" sure is fitting in this situation.

If only we could find a way to mix the two, instead of doing one and then the other.

...On second thought, perhaps that's what gets me eaten by Rathian. Hm...

So fight, then chat when the monster flees the zone.  Or chat-'n'-hunt only on the lower-ranked monsters (who can't really kill folks with +armor anyways).

Sure I did; you took down that Great Jaggi all by your lonesome, while chucking in witty comments throughout.  Same idea!

If I were by myself, then how do you know what I did? Stalker!

A Great Jaggi is nothing, I could take out one of those in my undergarment (and have!). But a Rathian? I might as well baste myself in delectable turkey juices.

Lower level Rathians aren't much of a threat to hunters with +armor, especially if the hunters bring antidotes.  The only monster I can see this not working too well with is Diablos, because Diablos is the devil (appropriate name, eh?).  Why not give it a test run sometime?  The most that's lost is a few zenny and a pitiful number of HR points, which are probably irrelevant to most folks at this point anyways.

Don't you want to impress me with your skill?

Heheh.  I have to take the rest of this month off from gaming, but come August I'll have more time on my hands than I'll know what to do with, so I'll cheerfully start playing again then.

Maxi, was that you I saw online earlier tonight? I had searched for your name, but every time I tried to send you a message, it would say that you were in a quest... hmmm.

I'm sure I'll get back on in the next couple of days again. Oh well! :P

Haven't played today.
Maxi is dead. I killed him and took his posts and changed genders.

It was another connection death Sundoulos, no biggy. I didn't mind the chatting you guys were doing & I didn't want to break up your team just for my own grinding. Looks like we only had 5 of us playing so someone had to be left out.

To be able to efficiently hunt & chat would be pretty fun. I guess someone could flee from the monster, post then come back & let the person they were talking to leave & respond. It would be as if we were Monster Hunter under the Freebird Rule.

Yeah that's why the Freebird rule actually sounded like a better idea. WiiSpeak works pretty good with you & Mop it up seems to hear me alright just can't talk herself.
