Hahahaha.  I figured it was you Stratos, but I couldn't remember.  It's not your fault, man...blame Nintendo.

Well, half the reason I used the headphones was because I was temporarily living with my folks at the time and I didn't want to disturb people.

When I got my own place I got fed up with it dangling from my head and just set it close to me. It seems to work just as well that way. I think the key thing that helped was either using the headphones to block sound from your TV being picked up by the mic or moving it very close to you and away from the television for the same effect.

I'm really waiting for somebody to make a WiiSpeak headset.  I know I would buy one.
I really wish Nintendo provided the consumer an option to use a bluetooth headset on the Nintendo Wii voice chat service.

Since when is Nintendo about offering options? There way is the best, no options necessary.

That does seem like something Nintendo could have included quietly without any kind of advertisement, focusing all their public attention on WiiSpeak but giving an option to the people who'd want it.

I would suggest playing offline for a few days.  I think that's what I'm going to do at first.

I'm not going to plan a formal club meet-up for tonight (since we won't all have the game), but next Tuesday the 27th should be our first set time.

How does next Tuesday strike everybody?

I'll be around in the morning/early afternoon on a Tuesday. I'll be back from work at around midnight or so EST if anyone wants to stay up late & kill some monsters.

Tuesday evening is great. The wife's teaching a night class, so after I get home from work (around 6 o'clock Zachlaska time), I'm all yours.

Sounds good to me...typically, I won't be able to join in until after 8:30 - 9  CST, though.

I'm just about to leave for the store.  My only question is how do you register friends since there are no friend codes?  I want to play with people on the site but I haven't got anyone Wii system number yet.

We can do back-to-back hunts.  Ain't nothing wrong with that, just have one person sit out each time.  We can work it out.

Why am I getting flashbacks to the PAX East video threads? ;)

Tuesday is awesome. My only day off so I should be game. I'll make sure I'm caught up on my homework too so I can just relax and play.

I didn't either. They had the game alone, but not the game + classic controller pro. Not gonna get 'em separately. They're checking to see if they're getting any bundles at all. Bah.

I pre-ordered from Amazon so it'll probably be about a week before I receive it.

I'll probably be available in the evening or night, so any of you late-night players should consider me if you want to go hunting at those times. However, I suspect that I am not going to be very good at this game, so please be patient with me.
