They need a Steve Jobs/Steve Wozniak team. Physically they'd be awful, but Woz could dunk because he'd be standing on his Segway, and Jobs would use his Reality Distortion Field to make himself seem better.

So we have a release time frame October 2010. If I recall correctly that is when the NBA season starts. So the date makes sense.

I haven't been able to watch the finals so I haven't been able to check ads on things. I have been keeping track of scores online though.

Anyway its nice to have a date for the games release.
Oh someone mentioned a page back about Jordan in the game and he is being the cover athlete for NBA 2K11.So that might be a reason for Jordan possibly not being in NBA Jam.I don't know if Jordan is going to be in NBA Jam or not though.

A little piece of trivia Jordan was in the arcade version of NBA Jam back in the day but it was like the early version of NBA Jam.

October is when training camp happens then a few exibition games.Regular season starts in November it typically goes till I want to say May. Then the playoffs start and go till Mid to late June.

And most people feel the season is way too long. The season is 7 months, then the playoffs are over a month (since they decided to make EVERY round a best of 7 series, the first round used to be best of 3). The only sports season that I think is longer is NASCAR (which is like 10 months).

I think they changed it in 2003. It was a bad move. The playoffs don't really get interesting until the Conference Finals.

NHL is pretty long. Starts in October and just ended last night. Probably about a month longer on average. I would say the amount of games is more important than the amount of days. MLB has 162 regular season games which seems like huge overkill to me.

I've never had a problem with the length of the NHL season and in fact the off-season feels like an eternity each year. But here in Vancouver the NHL is it. It isn't like being in one of these multi-league cities where some local team is always playing. I imagine in places like Portland or Salt Lake City the fans are glad to have such a long NBA season since that's the only game in town.

Germany has ratings for a PS3 and 360 version.

If this gets the Dead Space Extraction treatment (released as a download on the HD systems) I'm dropping this game altogether.

Well, if the rumor's true and we are going to see PS3/360 versions, I'm probably going to get the PS3 version if I get it at all. Of course, with my team getting significantly weaker today with the loss of Boozer (good riddance, though I'll miss his talent) to the Bulls in Free Agency, I don't know if I'd want JAM at all. Nothing against JAM, just that it's looking like it's going to be a bad season to be a Jazz fan and I don't think I'll be in the mood to buy a basketball game to commemorate it.

Wait, why is the game being boycotted if it isn't a Nintendo exclusive? How does it being ported later to other platforms lower the quality of the game? Ok, if EA announces bonus content in the other platforms, that's one thing, and I can see holding out for the best version.

I'm tempted to buy it no matter what, because I remember having fun with its predecessors. I just don't know if I'd spend enough time with it. I couldn't care less if it showed up on a different platform.
