Hey for anyone whos bought the game, (and if you havent GET IT!) How far are you guys? I've just barely made it to the fourth chapter. ITS SO FARKIN HARD. Post any tactics or help you could give me. Thanks

Im almost done I think im gonna beat it 2 days ago, or maybe il do it yesterday. Im not sure sounds like fun though. I hope it doesn't take me a week ago.

it seems he has a "time warp" code that he's unwilling to share with us. that's pretty rude, you could at least give us a hint.

I watched friend (lithy on the boards) beat the Dreamcast import...Easy mode, of course. Damn intense stuff, especially the Metroid-esque finale (you'll see). But since it was Japanese the odd thematic/aesthetically-oxymoronic (you'll see) ending was completely lost on us.

Ikaruga can be beaten!? You LIE, thats not possible. The next thing you are gonna say is that there is no Santa Claus......what there is no Santa Claus!? Well I guess Ikaruga can be beaten. Of course the day I beat Ikaruga is the day I run out buy a lottery ticket and win.

well i beat ikaruga
it took a long time- a very long time
basically once i got the unlimited continues i could do it- by going on 2 player mode with my friend and wasting at least 25 continues each
oh yeah- the game is so hard- yet so satisfying
it has to be the best shooter i have played ever
its too much fun to put down yet so hard
i dont think i will beat it by myself using only one continue any time soon though- thats asking too much of one singular human

I beat Ikaruga on easy with 9 continues...so i don't feel too proud.

Nope, that was the Japanese ending too, but at least you could read that paragraph at the end, right?

this game is great, I feel like I just brought home a classic arcade cabinet into my home.

WishI got it sooner.

As far as I have gotten with about 30 minutes to one hour of trying is the boss on level 2.
He keeps whooping me.

if you guys like old arcade games like this, you should try this little free sieres called Area Flat, not that bad,

this is if you need a break from the toughness from Ikaruga, cause these games arent that hard, but fun
