Glad it is coming to Wii. I just hope it will be a genuine experience and not some half-baked, watered-down 'me too' project.

This is one of those series where even though I don't think I'd like it I still feel like I should own one of the games just because it is such a long-running series.

    The question is, which one?

    The question is, which one?

    Sands of Time

    This is not debatable.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Does the GameCube version have any problems in comparison to the other versions?

It was just fine for me. I think it was the exact same game as on the Xbox and PS2.

Thirded. Though the newest, just plain "Prince of Persia" was also quite impressive.

Meh, it was mostly an exercise of remembering which button you press for which wall element.

That's better than remembering to press the same button for every wall element like Assassin's Creed.

I actually preferred it in AC because that meant I only had to look for navigable objects instead of also remembering which button to tap on each.

Meh, it was mostly an exercise of remembering which button you press for which wall element.

That's better than remembering to press the same button for every meaningful environmental action in the game like Assassin's Creed.

Fixed.  Forgot they used the same button for running and blending that they used for climbing, did you?

I don't understand the whole bagging on Prince of Persia for streamlining the platforming.  It's not like it was all that more interesting in the Sands of Time trilogy.  You were doing the same things, just that you had to hold down an additional button to initiate it previously.
