On Virtual Console, we are treated to the original Blaster Master, a beloved NES classic originally released in 1988. It features a character named Jason who hops down into a sewer after his pet frog, Fred. In the sewer, Jason finds a super-powered vehicle that he uses to blast his way through a cavernous underworld in search of his lost pet. Blaster Master is available on the Wii Shop channel for 500 Wii Points.
Also on Virtual Console is the 1996 Sega Genesis platformer Earthworm Jim 2. This game continues the story of the titular earthworm and his sidekick, Snott, as they rescue Princess Whats-Her-Name from the evil PsyCrow. Earthworm Jim 2 is available on the Wii Shop channel for 800 Wii Points.
First up for DSiWare is Littlest Pet Shop from EA. This pet simulator allows you to play catch, dress up your pets, and throw a dance party. Littlest Pet Shop is available on the DSi Shop for 800 Nintendo DSi Points.
Also on DSiWare is Miami Nights, a life simulator from Gameloft. The game lets you create a customizable character. With up to 30 locations in Miami to explore, it's up to the player to create rewarding relationship with those around him. Miami Nights is available on the DSi Shop for 800 Nintendo DSi Points.
Bejeweled Twist for DSiWare is a fun new spin on the classic Bejeweled gameplay. Rotate gems to create matches, while keeping an eye out for bombs and other obstacles. The game allows you to create Lightning gems and other specialized tools. There is a classic mode and a multiplayer battle mode as well. Bejeweled Twist is available on the DSi Shop for 500 Nintendo DSi Points.
The next game for DSiWare is Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam from Virtual Toys. This game gives you a taste of the culinary good life, creating dishes for all sorts of customers: vampires, aliens, thugs, and even Vikings. Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam is available on the DSiShop for 500 Nintendo DSi Points.
Last for DSiWare is Master of Illusion Express: Matchmaker. Like the other Master of Illusion Express titles, this game gives you an illusion you can perform for your friends using the Nintendo DSi. In this particular illusion, you use the Nintendo DSi camera to pinpoint a friend's age or other information. Master of Illusion Express: Matchmaker is available on the DSi Shop for 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
The first of four titles for WiiWare is Stunt Cars from Icon Games Entertainment. This game takes place on elevated racetracks and has the players performing stunts. There are four championship cups for the player to play through. Stunt Cars is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 800 Wii Points.
Also on WiiWare is Diatomic from Grendel Grames. This unique game takes place inside of a set of petri dishes, and requires fast reflexes. The game contains a total of 65 stages in which your petri dish is under attack from different creatures. Diatomic is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 800 Wii Points.
Moki Moki from Natsume is a WiiWare puzzle game. The player guides creatures called the Moki to safety from the evil Gromblins by manipulating the environment. Helping the Moki avoid environmental hazards is a key concern in the 100 unique levels. Moki Moki is available on the Wii Shop channel for 800 Wii Points.
The final title available on WiiWare is Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy: RUSH from Two Tribes. This 3D puzzle game uses the iconic cube to present 70 different levels that have the player guiding Cubes to color-coded exits. The player uses the Wii Remote to interact with the world by placing conveyer belts, Warp Spots, and signs that the Cubes will obey. As a bonus, the game includes a solvable Rubik's Cube, and a tutorial on how to solve it. Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy: RUSH is available on the Wii Shop channel for 600 Wii Points.
