1874. Because as a child, I would wrap myself in a blanket, and then "hatch" myself as a Yoshi. My brother and I would be different colors. And we'd fight goombas and koopa troopas.

When my sister and I were little we'd play a version of hide-and-seek where our parents pretended to be dinosaurs and scare us as we were hiding. Mom went all out with the snarling and stomping but Dad would make these weird squeaky noises and when he found us he yelled "POW! I hit you with a red turtle shell!" Mom, my sis and I were all "WTF?" and Dad replied "I'm Yoshi the Dinosaur!" He liked Super Mario Kart a lot. LOL.

It wouldn't surprise me, it looks to me like Birdo would have more meat. I'll bet that snout is something which would be considered a delicacy to some and revolting to others.

1869) Because I think about weird things.

Yes...except we didn't all literally yell 'WTF'. Mom was upset that Dad was ruining the element of scariness and none of use had a clue what he was pretending to be until he explained if after the game ended. In retrospect it was a pretty humorous thing. How many kids get to have a Dad growing up that pretends to be Yoshi when playing with their kids?

Forget playing 'horsey' with my future kids, I'm playin 'Yoshies' instead!

1867) In North America Yoshi is a dinosaur, and in Japan he is a dragon. I'm not sure about other places like Europe, but they tend to use North American translations and go from there.
