First let me start off by saying that I have been order from Buyrite Games for 5 years now and before now I've never had any problems . That stated I just wanted to warn you guys to be cautious from ordering from them. I ordered Splinter Cell and Burnout 2 on 4/10/03 from Buyrite and I haven't gotten notification that they have shipped yet. I've gotten the notification that they received my order and my card was charged on 4/12/03. Its been twelve days and no games. Usually get my games within 2 or 3 days not including Sundays. This is the first time I haven't gotten my order promptly. To be honest the only reason I'm so peeved is that they could have at least sent me and email stating that there was a delay in my order or something. This is terrible customer service. They have yet to respond to the email I sent them 3 days ago as well. Sorry about my rant but I just wanted to let everyone know the problems I've had with my last order. Damn shame for them, after 5 years I'm no longer going to be ordering from them.

i don't think it's buyrite's fault in particular.. there are many retailers here that still don't have these games on their shelves here... pretty strange actually...

That is weird Darc, maybe they dont have them, but they really should have at least emailed you why they haven't sent it.  Its suprising that, after all your success with them, that their service would fall short. thx for the heads up though

Yes but they didn't have the decency to let me know why my order hasn't shipped. Also I still haven't gotten a response to the email I sent them asking them whats going on with my order. I shouldn't have had to ask what was going on they should of told me. When I ordered all the parts to upgrade my PC, the company called me the next day to let me know that they didn't have my monitor in stock so there were going to send me a more expensive model free of charge. Compare the two situations, next time I need to upgrade my PC I will use that company again. With Buyrite, I'm more pissed about not being notified of whats going on. I use to recommend them, I've been ordering from them since I ordered X-Men vs. Street Fighter for my Saturn.

You're not the only one who's been stung. I ordered two copies of Zelda:Wind Waker with Bonus disc over two months ago, and I've yet to receive my orders, four weeks after it came out. The thing is I've spent $120 and I've been charged for them as well.  I come from the UK and I've managed to get in touch with customer service via phone but have been repeatedly told that they have been delayed because they have run out of bonus discs. I'm still waiting for them now. The thing that annoys me the most is that Zelda is coming out in the UK in less than two weeks! Is there some kind of customer watchdog that can help us?
Alright! Let's hear it one more time for Randy Watson! Randy Watson!

First off call your credit card company and tell them you have been charged for something you haven't received.  They'll take the charge off and probably look into the complaint.  Credit cards are not supposed (possibly even not allowed) to be charged until an order has been shipped.  IMO this sounds like possible fraud intentional or not.

Thanks for the advice Nitsu, but I used to work for a credit card company and I know I can dispute the charge. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to dispute the charge until May 10th. A merchant has 30 days to provide service before you can dispute. So I'm gonna keep hounding them but I will NEVER order anything from them again. I advise anyone that is thinking of ordering from them to no do so. I've called them 3 times and gotten the run around and emailed them and gotten no response. I'll call them on my next day off which is Wednesday and I'm going to be an a--hole. I hate to do it, I always try to be civil but they are giving me no choice. Somebody's surpervisor is gonna ship my stuff ASAP or I'm going to the Better Business Bureau and disputing the charge.

Well my update to my situation. I disputed the charge on my credit card a week and a half ago. Today I received one of my two games...the one I of the two I wanted the least. Splinter Cell....no Burnout 2. God I hate Buyrite.
