Mario and friends inspire seniors and kids to play together.

Ever since the launch of the Wii in 2006, the system has been able to gain fans in the unlikeliest of places. One of those groups of fans are senior citizens. The ease of play, along with the appeal of games like Wii Sports has inspired them to enjoy their golden years and have fun.

Thanks to New Super Mario Bros. Wii's four player gameplay, kids and senior citizens are enjoying competitive fun. This new video from Nintendo showcases social play in action.

Ah, good ol' Nintendo.  Always jumping at the opportunity to come across like the biggest squares around. ;)

That one old lady in the glasses looks she's incapable of being happy.  This videogame is DAMN SERIOUS!
