Tiger Woods Golf 2003

I bought this game for $4.95 plus shipping because of a deal I read about on IGN.  I am utterly suprised at how much I like it.
I usually am not a huge sports fan and I haven't had a good time with a golf game since NES golf back in 1986.
I've seen this game at Best Buy for 19.99 or so and I must say it would be totally worth it.  The only bad part of the game is the
really poor quality video they show (FMV) at boot time.

BS.

I agree the game is GREAT, it is my most played game without a doubt.

As for the FMV they are very much golf related and I personally like them.

4.95?  Thats a steal!  Tiger Woods is one of my most played games.  On SAT afternoons, I literally play for 3-4 hours at a time.

Yep, as an older gamer (32) who loves golf, TW2003 is a real treat. Playing with a few buds over a few cold ones is a great way to kill a rainy day.

Omen: I read a post of yours in another section where you listed your gaming history. I thought I was looking in the mirror for a moment.

Yea, i'm an older gamer as well, being 29.  2 weeks ago, me  and 3 of my friends played Tiger woods for a good 6 hours (it was raining all day).  And of course, having an adult beverage of choice is always welcome.

I think anyone who still plays games at this age has a similar path.  Most of my friends do, at least.  We were the first generation to grow up with a video game system.

I was just curious, has the analog stick always been used in golf games for the swing, or is this the first time.  I really like this setup as opposed to the hit the button three times approach.

I also really appreciate that the load times are nice and small.  I truely hope the poor sales doesn't doom this series on the Gamecube.  Then again, I really don't think we need a new versio of the game every year 2003...2004....etc.  Every couple of years makes more sense.

this is the first that i have played with the analog stick function.  And 2004 has already been confirmed for e-3, so I think we'll see it next year

I LOVE Tiger Woods golf.  I am about to max out my stats, and should beat the tiger challenge in a couple days.  Everyone in my house plays this game a lot (My girlfriend and I, and another couple)  And the girls dont even like video games!  Awesome awesome game and I cant wait for 2004.
