As far as I'm concerned, Marshmallow Peeps is the only reason Easter exists. O_O Who knew taking a a marshmallow, shaping it to look like a bird, and covering it in yellow sugar would be so good? Whoever invented these things should be sainted. And now they come in blue and pink and even Bunny shapes! What could make me happier?

Seconded

You can join their fan club for ten bux and get a shirt and some peeps and some other stuff I hear. Also, they generally have stuff available year round (Ghosts for halloween, Trees for Xmas, that sorta stuff).

Also, they are complemented nicely by Starburst jellybeans.

They....have....a...fan...club....? I've gotta join that thing, especially if it's only 10 bucks AND I get some peeps out of the deal.

Ah man, come this fall I'm going to be gorging myself full of peeps and peep related products. Funny thing they're made in Bethlehem PA.

You actually eat Peeps? They're way too cute for me to eat. As long as i can remember, i've had a problem eating them and gingerbread men. For some reason, i never grew out of this seemingly childhood condition.

Besides, Cadbury Chocolate Eggs > Peeps

Of course I eat Peeps! I start by biting off the tail, then the head, then gobble of the rest of it's adorable little body.

Bleck, I hate Cadbury eggs. The chocolate's good, but all that stuff in the middle is disgusting.

I know dooder, it makes me feel so guilty.

Cadbury Eggs are rad, but gawd, they're expensive as hell.

Starburst Jellybeans are AWESOME, see if you can snag some and try 'em out.

TMan, your taste buds must've been burned off when you were little. Peeps are so delightfully delicisious, you can't explain them on wods, although I've tried!

I love Starburst jellybeans, too- I like regular jellybeans as well, but they just don't capture that fruit taste the Starburst ones do.

You mean as in the city Cadbury? I'm pretty sure it's named after the Cadbury in England, man. The eggs are huge in the US.

Eating peeps is sick and disturbing, although i wouldn't touch a real chicken either...

The trick is to get all of your holiday candies *after* the holidays. Cadbury eggs usually go for 25-50 cents for a four pack at Target; i'm sure other big stores (supermarkets even) run similar deals. i'll still pick up a pack for Easter, and still strain my tongue trying to lick out the center after they've sat in the fridge for a few hours  -- a personal tradition.

i'm not big on Starburst jellybeans; i like Jelly Belly a lot more, but they're extremely expensive. If they made Starburst jellybeans based on the tropical or other non-standard flavors, i'm sure i'd love them though.

I prefer cadbury eggs, because I don't like marshmellows too much.  Also, for those that don't know, I have discovered that there are chocolate filled peeps now.  Except they don't seem to have heads. . . oh well.  Peeps are okay, though.

Peeps are the most heavenly thing ever.  I have been known to consume a whole box in one sitting.

I had a friend send me some from the states, and I brought them into work one day a few weeks ago (I work in London now).  Everyone in the office was terrified of them - they thought they were toxic or something (the verdict is still out on that one!)  Anyway, after a taste, a few of them are now converted Peep fans!

You can actually take a tour of the Just Born factory in Bethlehem.  Haven't done it, but I've been to Bethlehem.

Speaking of Cadbury eggs, you can get them year round in the tube stations, three for £1!

so many fans of peeps, and so many fans of cadbury creme eggs.  while i do enjoy them both, i am somewhat partial to the joy of my left-over peeps.

has anyone else ever microwaved them?  you know how when you microwave a normal marshmallow they get a little bit bigger?  well.  peeps have much larger air pockets in them than regular marshmallows, and thus get friggin huge in the microwave!!

my recommendation is about 30 seconds.  they stop growing much after then and usually start to burn at about 45 sec.

HAVE FUN WITH YOUR LEFTOVERS!!

Hahaha- I put one of my peeps in the microwave and god did that thing get huge! Seeing a tiny little peep balloon to something like 3 times it's normal site is one of the funniest things I've seen in a very long time. It was real gooey, too, just like a roasted marshmallow. Ah, great fun.

Don't know why you'd buy candy on the web, but still... http://www.walgreens.com/store/subcategory2.jhtml?page=1&CATID=100590

LOL, I don't have any idea why you would buy candy on the web, the only other reason to buy candy is if someone stocks them up and they don't have them anymore.
