I haven't heard any recent rumblings on Harvest Moon for GC - but I do see that they've recently added some new screenshots to NATSUME.COM. Is everyone else as excited as I am for this well-deserved sequel?

It is unfortunate that the PS2 version had way more features than any other version so far - my ol' N64 copy of the game just didn't seem to stack up to it. I hope the GC version will have just as many features as the other platforms.

I can't remember where I saw this, but I seem to recall reading that Harvest Moon will hit late-Summer, early-Fall. My guess would be that Natsume has been rather quiet since they weren't sure when it would be ready. I bet we'll see more information at E3 (I really do hate that phrase but it's basically the only thing to say about any game these days).

Arhm... The PS2 version was by far the worst, the ps1 and n64 both had great aspects to them, like BTN had great features, while N64 had much better characters adn much better time system, and no loading mind you--but the new game A Wonderful Life is promsided to be the best uet, with marriage, tons of crops and animals, more relistic settings, over 40 new characters, hyrbid crops, lots and lots of fun! Its supposed release is late summer-mid fall, somewhere around there.

Its gonna be excellent!

Sure am, this is why i bought animal crossing because i thought it would be like harvest moon on n64, but now that they are making one exclusive to GC, it's gonna be great!!

According to Natsume, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (as I believe it's called) is going to be their best yet. They've pulled out all the stops and are realling maxing it out so that it can be the best it can be. They're reportedly holding nothing back. I think you'll like it.

The GameCube version might be the first version I put serious consideration into buying. I liked the previous games, but they never kept my interest long enough to warrant a purchase.

Natsume once said that the GameCube version was the one that they were going to create the game they had always intended to create when making Harvest Moon. As the SNES version is still my favorite to date, I am quite interested in seeing if they have improved on the formula yet.

On their website they say they have an "improve marriage system". Im lookin forward to this game. I never played it but I like Animal Crossing and I think it's a similar kind of game. And I want the GBA version too so I can use the extras.

scroll to the bottem of the page and you'll see when they say its coming out. Also there are some fun pictures for anyone who wants to see them. In the next that comes before those there are a bunch of little highlight things, "40 new characters" etc. VERY excited for this game!!!

I feel ignored, I know all there is to know about this game.

Also it connects to 'Freinds of Mineral Town" the new GBA game coming out. The GBA game is very similiar to BTN but not 3D.

If this game can hold my attention anywhere nearly like the Zen-Like state that the first harvest moon 64 did, I'm in.

I'm going to buy it regardless, HM64 had this odd, herionlike addictive feeling, to the point that i sat there one day and played it for 22 hours in a row.

I disliked the playstation version, and i hope this one is much more in the simple vein of HM64, thats alot of harvest moon's charm, its simplicity..

Aran, you share my views exactly! BTN had the features but the re-arranged characters and the town set up seemed to lose a lot of charm that the N64 game did, because the N64 game had so much heart. Hey you should IM me so we can discuss hm caus eyou share my views.

Not if I use my time machine to jump forward and buy the game in the future. I also bought a sports almanac that tells me the scores of every single sports game from now until December. And I'll prove it.

I'm not so sure about getting the GBA one. I loved harvest moon, but, I could barely play through the game a second time. Sure, my first file made it all the way to about year *4* I hope this one adds more stuff to do in the later years, I would have continued, but, after having everything, all the other ladies in town got married (I married Anne, I just liked her the best... Karen was, by all means, a B*tch, even after you did marry her)

I'm kinda curious to see how many spouses there are in this game, and how many guys want them. Harvest Moon 64 had believable characters, and if you took to long to get the girl, someone else would, but, you could help them out in doing that also. (like the mailman and Maria)
