I think that character you don't want to mention looks like The Abomination from The Incredible Hulk. Perhaps said character will evolve, like in the comics.

That is also another accurate description. Perhaps a combination of both?
Lizards Head, with Abominations body?

and hopefully he does.

The character doesn't look at all like Abomination.  It looks exactly like who everyone else says it is.  (I am afraid to attempt the spoiler tag.)

Anyway, Batman with a gun doesn't exactly bother me.  If Batman knows the weapon will not kill then using a gun is acceptable...but often he states how he hates guns, so I can see him never using something that realistically looks like a gun.

But hey the DC Cinematic Universe is a strange universe.  Superman is bleak and kills and Batman scars and brands his victims...it seems all rather dark and not like the DC characters I know and love.

Pretty sure it's the grapnel gun (or something similar)...could shoot kryptonite bullets or something though.

Maybe it just looks like a gun. We didn't know what this was until The Dark Knight Rises came out.

The only thing appealing in that whole trailer is bebop and rocksteady. It looks like the closest thing I'll ever get to Casey Jones is my buddies cosplay.

I am a huge Turtles fan.  I must say this has me slightly optimistic.

The problem is still the Turtles designs...and I am not just talking about there faces.  Nothing about them look like Ninjas.  But to make matters worse they are still extremely over designed.  Donnie is my favorite character, and this design is just insulting.  It is like, we have to make sure you visually know he is the smart one.  Nick's cartoon series did a great job of showing the Turtles personality in their design without over doing it.

I am also worried about their personalities...everyone said they nailed the Turtles presentation in the first movie, but NO the didn't.  Leo which is supposed to be the leader and the overly concerned one, just fought with Ralph or did nothing.  Ralph was the leader and character with an emotional arc, and Donnie and Mickey were left to be caricatures of the cliched characters they already were.

This looks better because it captures that retro feel of the 90s cartoon series, and honestly that is what they really need to push for with this series go extremely retro and go over the top.  Finally, if they can get some humor to make fun of the genre as a whole then it will be even better...but that last one won't happen.

Nice to see Nightcrawler in this, is Mystique still his mom?
Arch Angel is a different character from Angel?
I really don't want to see Logan flirting with teenager Jean.

I didn't see the last one yet but I thought it looked alright. This one looks like it might be interesting though. Trying to decide if I should see the previous one first or just go to this one. Personally I don't care what they look like they are mutant turtles for crying out loud.

I love the Beastie Boys (obviously), but I don't know if I'd use any of their songs in a Star Trek trailer.

I have no problem with the song usage.  But, the song didn't fit the trailer.  I didn't feel like I was watching a sabotage or a betrayal or a setup happen.  Perhaps that it taking the song too literal for the trailer, fine.

But the rest of the trailer, what do we have?  If I was to believe what the trailer presented the movie to be.  It looks like the ship is attacked and alien groups are forced to live among each other and fight.  Also the movie appeared to show way too much transporter stuff for me.  Which honestly was a problem with the first 2 movies anyway.

As a huge fan of the character since before he gained ridiculous popularity, the trailer has me only sort of hyped. The Mutants appearing alongside him and consistent tone are nice, but I'm afraid that the high-stakes aren't going to let any serious, character building moments happen.

In other words- too awesome, not well-written enough.

Didn't watch the new red band trailer yet, but I hope there is not any fourth wall-breaking in the movie at all. Not only would it ruin the movie experience, but also all of the X-men franchise by virtue.

If it helps, Colossus is i the trailer and doesn't look anything like the X-Men movies version.

Not entirely sure they are connected.

Deadpool just looks annoying and childish. I think by going for a higher rating they're going to be alienating their target audience aka 12-year old boys who still think lame jokes about dicks and assholes are funny.

But hasn't that always been the appeal of Deadpool, Potty-mouthed, 4th wall breaking (this dude wants to be Hokage, HOKAGE!?!) Class-A-Hole. I say let's go all the way. Its Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds, the guy was put on Earth to play ONE role and now he gets it!
